Tbh I’m surprised Animal Crossing doesn’t have more cross over stuff like they did with Sanrio. They should totally do a Pokémon collaboration & other cool things for future Animal Crossing games. It would truly be so wild & fun! 😍

Peep the tiny custom Lapras tiles in the outdoor tile flooring at Cerulean City. The attention to detail!! Love these island tours, thank you for making and sharing them~
The rooms you went into in the Indigo plateau represent, Lorelei (the ice elite 4), Bruno (he's supposed to be fighting, but he also has rock types), Agatha (ghost) attic is the champion (your rival) and basement is Lance, the dragon master. In generation one fairy, dark and steel types didn't exist.
As a Pokemon fan, it was actually a nice breath of fresh air getting your takes on the themes you were witnessing with the tour. It reminded me of what it was like to play these games for the first time lol. Also, appreciate the effort in the simple but largely effective panning you did with each area!
I’m impressed this is so well made and I love the Lapras custom pathing. I attempted to make the Johto region back during the lockdowns and it was ok but couldn’t get the design right because obviously the region is waaay too big for animal crossing and it felt too crowded. I made new bark town, azalea town, ecruteak city which took up alot of room lol and even national park which was shaped like a Pokéball. This islands layout is very uniform and well thought out, I really like the tall grass sections, the lines of trees just like in the games. The gyms are cool although I think they could use more detail but still very cool. The use of gyroids as Pokémon is perfect. :) mt moon is really well made. Best Pokémon themed island I’ve seen. Very nice work!
I actually hated how empty the gyms were, but I based them on the real gyms which were empty 😂 Don’t think the real interiors lend themselves to ACNH very well.
Katie just barging over that first ledge you're not supposed to be able to cross from below bothered me more than it should 😂 I can't imagine how much planning this must have taken; exactly how much space the towns and routes could take up to fit it all in and still decorate it all to the point everything's super recognizable. Amazing. The warp pipe to Cinnabar island 😭 11/10 best ACNH island.
Admittedly, it wasn’t my best thinking, but I do always build my islands with a start at the airport in mind and RS needed to be in the middle because it only worked for Saffron City. But it’s definitely not ideal for DA visits 😅
Lovely tour and this is by far my favourite island. Two of my favourite games all in one. I've played every pokemon game from the game boy colour to the switch. I was there when Ash and Pikachu began their journey, I cried with joy and triumph when ash and pikachu became world champions and I cried when they left the pokemon anime. Animal crossing and Pokemon they need a crossover like how we got some of the Mario items I'm pretty sure they could do something with pokemon

The camera work on the intro of this video, is so good. Such a nice introduction to this showcase. Anyway, love this showcase and I really need to finish the Happy Home Paradise since I need the advanced designing options in my island redesign. I can also see, just in this video, that even though I have over 1500 hours in ACNH, I only have a small fraction of all the items available since the HHP update. I want to say that the use of foliage and custom ground textures is absolutely stunning. I don’t even know if I have the horticultural eye to make anything arranged this well. New Horizons doesn’t get enough credit for how well you can customize the island. I absolutely love the new fruit mechanic and how it allows us to finally instantly transplant foliage, making islands like this, possible, with just using the game itself.
I also got to visit Walt’s house, and it’s pretty wild. When I visited, a different group of villagers was in and outside their homes. It definitely leads to some repeat visits to see different villager houses. Evan left no stone unturned.
Walt’s house is one of my favourites 🧡🧡 Also, if you’re having trouble getting items, you could look into a treasure island. I don’t have the patience anymore after over 9000 hours in ACNH 🤣
Some people have already said that the rooms into the League were themed on the Elite Four but i will add a fun fact: you guessed fairy and dark but these types didn't exist in first gen! Dark type was added in second gen together with steel, fairy was added in X/Y (6th gen)
The Gyroids are representing the different starter Pokémon you get. The green one represents Bulbasaur the Grass type starter. The blue one represents Squirtle the Water type starter. The Orange one represents Charmander the Fire type starter. In Pokémon each elemental type has strengths and weaknesses against each other. Grass is weak to Fire but is strong against Water. Water is weak to Grass but strong against Fire. Fire is weak to Water but strong against Grass. There are 15 more types. These three are the basic ones you get to pick from.
The elite 4 is Ice type Loa- FIghting type Bruno- Ghost type Agatha - And the downstairs is Dragon type Lance, The upstairs is where you be come the new champion 🏆........ (I think 🤔)........

My last one I made is from Buffy , but after starting 12 times new after finishing the Island , i didn’t complete the last one :/ Such a nostalgic feeling watching this one . Sooo soo beautiful 🫶🏻
I love Pokemon it was the first ever anime I watched as a kid and I still love it to this day I played the game Boy color Pokemon games and I know play the Nintendo Switch games I would have to pick Legends Arceus the ancient Hisui Region which eventually becomes the Sinnoh Region my favorite pokemon is Pikachu

I tried to create National Park from G/S/C in my game, but when I used wheat fields for the tall grass, my framerate would plummet and have significant slowdown in the game... Now it's just a field of green flowers instead. Fingers crossed that Nintendo's next console is backwards-compatible and can run it better!
I'm sorry I didn't see it when it came out but it looks amazing already! I love many but my most favorite are Pokémon Sapphire, Scarlet and Legends Arceus.

Basically, you can’t have more than one island on a Switch. You’ll have a main account (on this island that was me, Evan), and then every other profile is a secondary account. When you open ACNH, the island is already created and your secondary accounts automatically move onto the island. You don’t have to do all the intro tasks like the main player.
Just a tip, please just explore the island and don’t think too much about what direction to go! Just go with the flow, please, too many ACNH CZcamsrs do this. It’s your video!!! Just explore the island😭😭😭😭😭
I had his skin tone a bit darker at first, but it wasn’t quite right either. I did change his eye shape as well to make him look more accurate, but the customisation is severely lacking in ACNH for the characters. No intention of whitewashing him at all, and (as a white person), I even felt weird giving him the very exaggerated slanted eyes that are included in ACNH because I felt it might be insensitive or cartoony, but he quite literally has closed eyes in the anime, so 🤷🏼♂️ Not sure there was any winning here, but happy to hear any suggestions!
@@Evan_Crossing Games do severely lack options for POC people. You'll usually have like 5 different pale tones, and then like 3 gradient tones from tan to the darkest. However, I think ACNH still has two skin tones close enough to his - either the fourth or fifth skin tone (counting from the lightest to darkest). When it comes to the eyes, I think the ones without the cornea (with one downward-curved line on top and the pupil attached under it) would've looked better.

In new leaf they did have more cross overs but i guess for legal reasons they haven't made a comeback
