As someone who grew up in Florida, running the beach and fishing this song reminds me of my childhood. I recently lost my cousin, who was more like a sister (we grew up side by side) and as I was driving to her grave to put flowers I was crying so hard and begging for this to be a dream… THIS song came on my playlist and it felt like SHE WAS SPEAKING TO ME through this song. Today marks the unofficial last day of the summer before the kids go back to school.
At the start of this summer...I was with someone who opened me up to new things and had an abundant personality. We'd lay at the beach our first date. Summer breeze-kissed lips and parched sand-riddled blankets being in the sun all day. I've never had anything like that.
Then one day she was gone. We used to listen to this song on repeat in the car. And since then it's become almost unbearable to hear even when it did come up on shuffle.
Today was the first time listening all the way through since then. I made it through without getting overly...yeah.
Some people come into your life like a breeze and you're meant to either learn what you like or what you don't like from each experience: good or for worse.
Songs themselves always seem to find a way to nestle deep into our hearts saying the things we wish we could say to those in the time we have to say. Without knowing how much time is left.

How on earth did this song come out approximately 4 years ago and I'm only hearing it now??? I'm from hawaii, so I like all types of Hawaiian, reggae, roots type of beat and iration is the one band that never produces a shitty song. The lead singer has an amazing voice, I'm glad I came across of Iration.. even more glad knowing I can vibe to the music. Hopefully you received a few new followers and purchases with that amazon link I put in the video description. My intentions were never to make money on youtube and I still haven't made a single penny.
