No wonder I can't get a bobcat, you have them all!!!! Of course as I am a massey ferguson nut I would have to get the mf equivalent but even I know bobcats are good machines.
Those all look pretty good for the hours. We have a 5640 gehl with 19000 hours and it looks like it’s got that many. Still runs good but burns a little oil and it’s plenty loose.
I'm not a fan of bobcat but that's impressive and they still keep ticking up the hours . I'm interested to see how long they keep going now . Great video
Yeah we are probably the only people with 3 hay 16 k hours. But they have all had some sort of work done to them but still running great and is crazy they have lasted this long!
I always thought 5000 hours on a skid steer was a lot. Of course it depends on where they are used and how they are maintained. The hour meter broke on my little Bob over 10 years ago so who knows what it is up to now. You have so many bobs it would be a nightmare to run your farm without them!
Normally skidders in the construction world are shot at about 3000 hours just start having issues with everything on them at that point but also when it's getting used for construction if a skidsteer is running its most likely wide open not like an excavator sitting around waiting on a truck or a loader
Yeah we go up on hours very fast with our bobcats so by time we want to trade it in they won’t give you anything for them. So we just keep running them! And yes we use 2 as our main ones and the rest are spares!
@@leuenbergerdairy6038 lol you'd probably be better off and save money and down time if you bought and sold one every year many companies do that cause like you said they won't get shit for them if they hold on longer and get a fresh warranty and your guys don't have to work on it hopefully lmao
@@leuenbergerdairy6038 I would say lease but more than likely would go over the hours lmao but there's companies that will buy new bobcats every winter to plow and sell them they rack on from about 2500-4000 hours in one plow season
Have an old 743 with indirect injection. Hardest thing to start I ever saw.only 2,600 hours if the meter is honest. Love it after it starts. Was wondering if Bobcat has a direct injection that will fit it. Also interested in your maintenance practices, what oil you use and such for lingevity. I need Robert to be more dependable especially with starting. Even if it means installing a D.I. engine. I understand they start a lot easier.
I’m not sure if they do? But I don’t see why they couldn’t. You’d have to speak to someone at bobcat for a for sure answer. But we just grease and change oil/ fluids regularly. We just use the basic farm & fleet oil.
I’m personally not a bobcat fan but in all fairness I’ve only ran one for a couple of hours and it didn’t seem to be taken care of well. But I gotta say yous use the heck out of these babies and they still run great
Yeah a lot of people don’t like them but that’s okay we love them and they’ve been good to us. Just take care of them and they will take care of you. They have had some work done to help them running this long but still very impressive
Yeah the 3 with over 16k all used to be feed mixing skid steers. Then the one with 12k is for manure. And our low hour ones the new feed one. So the 3 with the most are now just spares
You have a good start at being a dealer 😂 Handy machines.
We sure do 😂 and they sure are!
Runs like a charm. Nice video!
They sure do! Thank you for watching! We sure love our bobcat skid steers!

Thank you! We are bobcat diehards for sure!
That is incredible. I never realized it was even possible to reach that many hours on any skid steer or CTL

Everyone had a hard life we from
When those things finally crap the bed I would rebuild them and give them a full resto. Then put another 16k+ on em. Thats wild
That would be awesome to see them looking like new again! They have had some minor stuff happen but still crazy how much is on them!

Some very good machines.Have you guys ever done any engine work to them?
Minimum on 2 of them. On the 175 that one had a whole new engine put in that about 8k hours.
@@leuenbergerdairy6038 not many other brands that will last that long.
I agree I’ve never seen anyone else with as many hours on their skid steers as ours. You take care of them they will take care of you
753 bulletproof kubota engine.
Yeah she is love our little bob! 4 of our 5 have the kubota engine in them!
16000
??
Why do you have so many I have 2
Well they are to high of hours to get any trade in value so we might as well keep them as spares. Having 5 does come in handy!
