How do you put a sigil on somebody directly
@@spookystories1407I would just do your magical workings. Draw your sigil place in front of a mirror photograph it (the mirror image ) then secretly place it on their jumper or clothing, so that every time they look in the mirror they will see it and not know what they are seeing except subconsciously!
There is a certain specific caveat of danger, though, if they take the jumper off and look at it without looking at it in the mirror, it may reverse its meaning?
Best not to put a sigil on someone.😂

@@spookystories1407 Hi Spooky, in his book Mark explains several different sigils, like spoken sigils, that you could use for that. But please always only use benevolent sigils on others 🙂 If you have the other person's permission, you can use a pen to draw the sigil on their skin, or use your finger to invisibly draw it on their skin.
@@magnetmountain33 Great idea, and I wouldn't think you would actually need to reverse it - it will work either way. And yeah, don't put a sigil on anyone except when it's benevolent!
The Beauty of Sigils is they create a unique identifier without any preexisting connections and associations. Whatever it is you want the sigil to represent it becomes like the unique identifier for that very one and no other. Like walking a huge wide pebble beach with billions of pebbles but your sigil represents one individual pebble even if it looks like all the rest.
This is very much like the brilliance of getting your own unique name via a transcendental meditation master that you never tell anyone ever. This allows you to focus on your inner self without all the confusion and associations you may have with other names. Imagine meditating with your intention focused on your inner self called BOB. How many millions of times have you heard that name or seen it in movies or ads etc. When you create a sigil/symbol for your intention, even if it represents something there are millions of and very common, this sigil represents the one specific one that is meant for you. This is massively important and helps you create a laser like focus rather than a lantern like diffused focus.

I really, really like the way Mark presents this material. Everyone accepts the notion of "the subconscious" these days, so honestly everyone should be able to appreciate this stuff whatever their beliefs about "magic" per se. Myself, I'm very scientifically oriented, but I also believe very strongly that science does not really understand the nature of consciousness and so on - I think there are many things in that arena that we simply do not understand yet, and it's *possible* that does include some sort of "collective consciousness" mechanism. And once that's in the game, well, suddenly things like magic don't seem as far fetched - there is now a "mechanism" by which such things could operate.
So, you don't have literally to "believe in magic" - it's enough to just have an appropriate sense of humility about what we know and don't know.

It is so important, when being stuck, to at least have an intention of where to go, even if it seems difficult at first. And sigils definitely help turning your intention into reality!

Regarding the question at 46:40, Mark seemed a little hesitant answering this, and I think I know why. The questioner was once again alluding to the physical sigil containing some kind of energy of its own, which I think Mark made clear he doesn't believe. I would see two ways it might work in a situation like that. One, the sigil maker does program his or her own subconscious, and then might take actions of their own that subtly encouraged the other person to alter their behavior in the desired way. That line of reasoning doesn't invoke anything at all non-mainstream. The other idea is a bit more fringe, but some people think that there is such a thing as a "collective subconscious," and this whole process might program that, in which case there would be a mechanism for cross-person effects. In neither of these cases does the physical sigil have to carry latent energy itself. It can *all* be explained via mental conduits only.
Right. It's a symbol for the "energy." It's the transport mechanism if you will.

I was so taken by your lectures that i found myself hitting the subscribe button without even knowing when, since i went to do it again at the end, but realised it was already done. Thanks so very much because i have been trying to get into the symbolism of sigils making and how i can use it for my desires when i came into your video. My excuses for the long message, but i got self-confidence issues that has affected me so negatively on several occasions and i had like to do something; and even taking it a step farther by adding charisma/attraction/admired or utterly seductive. On consultations, i hear such a sigil has to present itself to me in a sort of occultic manner. SO WHAT TECHNIQUE CAN I USE TO REACH A STATE OPEN TO RECEIVE THE RIGHT SIGIL TO MY OBJECTIVE. Hey Dav, sorry for the delay. We are very much supporters of creating your own sigils, rather than having it come to you. A sigil really is tied to your intent, and making your own sigil, and running it through the Protocol of Intent before that, will give it so much more power. Good luck!

There is no limit Anthony, and actually I've heard Mark say, the more the better. The idea behind this is that you have to forget what your sigil is about, and making only one sigil, you'll always remember what it is for :-)

Hi Darryl, the answer to your question is not an easy one, and there is much more information about this in the book: some sigils need to be destroyed, others can be, and some should not be destroyed. But for the purpose of simple sigils as Mark is teaching here, they can usually always be destroyed.

Yeah, making it your phone screen wallpaper is a great way to charge your sigil! However, be careful with the 'what I need the most' because that will give you "lust for result" and if you don't deal with that, the sigil will lose it's power...
So when you remove the duplicates do you take them both out? I wasn't sure if you accidentally left the first s or if you kept the 1st one on purpose. This is an awesome video. I love sigils and have made a couple but I don't know how they work really....it's weird how the process is the same as other things I've learned. I can take warts off people and the last thing I tell people is forget about it. I don't make a big deal of it, they don't even know what I'm doing for that reason. It works though! My Dr could do it when I was a kid and I tried it, I was like 8. I thought I was really cool! 😊 Thank you for the wisdom!

I had a thought about this, you probably could do this method but from there use that symbol as structure to create a alien being. In my view that could possibly be more effective as it would have more emotional value

Hi..i saw this video today.I really liked it. For how many days you need to make it and destroy it ? Some people smear there sweat on sigil before destroying it to make it work..is it true ?
Thank you Sapna. Actually, there are a great many different ways to charge a sigil (and not all of them involve destroying it), Mark talks extensively about it in his book. You can calculate after how many days your sigil can be destroyed, based on factors like planetary influence and other correspondences with the objective of the sigil. Or, you can use your intuition :-)
I thought you just use the lines of the letters and not necessarily that whole letter. Right or wrong? Any advice?
You use the entire letter to make your base sigil. Having finished that, you can then stylize your sigil to your liking, leaving elements out and adding other elements. Hope this helps!
How do you find what you want to find your topic
I’m a little confused. So to start with sigils, you can use the statement of intent to create one. Once you’re done you should burn it and give it three months to work? How do you keep track of which sigils work and which ones don’t if you completely forget them?
Sorry to hear that Dappersloth - you can keep track of your intents in a diary, it's great to have a look back (you can set an alarm in your calendar for 3 months) and see that they have manifested. And if not, you can have another go at it (and make sure to run it through the Protocol of Intent if it hasn't manifested, because that will sharpen the Statement of Intent dramatically and thus greatly empower the sigil).

Thanks Gh0st! And yes, sigils do not need to be destroyed to be charged, they can be kept as well. However, this does depend on the objective of the sigil. If you make a sigil to get rid of migraines, for example, you don't want it tattooed on your body, you'll want to destroy the sigil :-)

It is all about how *you* choose to use it. Are you using it to do good, then you are serving Love/Source/God/Universe. Personally, I don't think selling your soul is possible, but you, as a human, do have the power to suppress your soul and let your ego reign. In the book The Sigil Secret, there is an extensive chapter on figuring out *why* you want something, and that will help you avoid anything that is wanted by the ego, and help you get clear on what is wanted by your soul. Hope this helps!

Yes absolutely, that will work!

Thanks for your question Suzie, since the Y can both be seen as a vowel and a consonant there is always some debate. You could follow either one of the following rules: 1. always treat it as a consonant 2. always treat it as a vowel 3. treat it how it is used in the word 4. do not use it if you already have (too) many letters. Sigils emphasize the heart (intuition) and soul (identity) at the expense of the mind (rational thinking) and strength (self defense, in this case). Translate that into hand reflexology, retracting the middle and ring fingers (mind and strength), and extending the pinky and index fingers (heart and soul), and voila - you exhibit the mano carnuto. The thumb, you ask? Well, that’s the oversoul. Hopefully, I encouraged the reader to reconsider sigil magic, regardless of your point of view. The big question is, who is doing the protecting (mano carnuto)? Really, people, it is the fox guarding the hen house. Self charm is self harm.

Instead of letters of an alphabet, can you make a sigil derived from images or drawings?
You could - in fact the Nike swoosh is a sigil purely based on a drawing/image. It will, however, take more energy to infuse the sigil with it's intent.

I have never had anyone explain this in the way you have, and it so resonates with me, wow! How did you come to this way of thought? I am currently reacquainting mySelf to craft and I have fell in love with sigils, so much so I have tattooed them on my body, such as my name. I created a sigil out of my name on my own and it felt powerful, then had it tattooed on my left upper breast, no it did not hurt. Hahahahaha.
Wow beautiful idea Ricky, wish I could see it! I am replying on behalf of Mark, since this is not his own channel: Mark has been into Chaos Magik for well over 20 years, and having studied psychology and clinical hypnotherapy, as well as neuroscience, and he deduced his knowledge from all these areas (that's why his book is by far the best book on sigils, I may add!).
Remove i and r from sigils, both reductive letters i=9 and r=18, 9 is a reductive number so even if you get rid of these two letters they will always magically come back in your sigil, so get rid of them in the statement but they will come back.

I thought of a very unique idea. Create sigils while you're meditating in your mind palace. When you're in that secret room in your mind you've created to feel at home. Create sigils in your mind, the full process, quickly, but well thought, with many at once. If anyone has success with this method as a meditation let me know!

Hi Elisabeth, there is more information on protective sigils in Marks book (The Sigil Secret), but a simple answer is this: think about what you *want* (not about what you don't want) and make a sigil for that. So, in your case, you might want to make a sigil based on "I am always safe" or "My spirit guides keep me safe" or something similar that works for you.

When making sigils can you mix upper and lowercase ?
Ive never see that done and have heard said from several teachers that it is uppercase only.
It depends on what you feel works better for you. If it works for you, go do it. If not, try another method.
Hi Katy, it's certainly possible to mix upper and lower case, just like Blackstar said: go with what works best for you. I personally use either upper or lower case and do not mix, but that's really my aesthetic preference. So all three options (lower case, upper case, or mix) work. You could even say that a mix is more aligned with the purpose of getting out of your head!
I am from europe/slovenia. Can i still make sigils in ENG or in my language
Hi Skismania, we would advise to make the sigils in your mother tongue, however, it is possible to do it in English as well. The basic idea is: it should be easy for you to work with. If you don't speak English very well, than definitely do it in Slovenian. Enjoy your making your sigils!

Sorry for my delayed reply Ray - the answer is no, unless either or all of these apply: a. the recipient of the sigil is practicing harmful magik himself b. the recipient vibrates at a low frequency c. the recipient beliefs he is harmed by others or can be harmed by others d. it is part of a soul agreement in which the recipient's soul actually wants it to happen so the recipient can learn and grow from it. Wouldn't it be better to write the sigil using letters from different languages like, Hebrew or Latin or Norse to further your subconscious mind from understanding??
The sigil system is already enough to keep your conscious mind from understanding, but if you like and want to other scripts, that is absolutely fine. Even though, I do think that the mental, cerebral act of translating it into another script might engage your conscious brain too much, so I hesitate to recommend it.

They are trying to influence you, and assuming it is someone you trust, influence you for the better. Generally we don't agree not telling someone what the sigil is for, since its use should be voluntarily. So ask your intuition whether or not this sigil is helpful to you. If not, throw it and make a sigil for safety.
Hi Mark i am being attack buy some beings, i had several health issues in 2022 and 2023 the more obvious one is a spiritual spouse.
