      I hope you find peace, and maybe this isn't the best place to start this conversation, but why do you believe a god exists in the first place? But you don't have to answer if this is a conversation you don't want to have.

      @@tallmikbcroft6937 I appreciate that! I always enjoy having philosophical conversations, such as about the existence of a god, but in particular times. I don't want to push the conversation on someone who might not be ready for it. Shalom :)

    I see this also as a statement on personal vs. collective hope. Just as for 400 years, the Israelites continued to hope for redemption from Mitzrayim,. for 1,800 years the Jewish people continued to hope for a return to Jerusalem. But how many lifetimes came and went not seeing these hopes realized? We might not live to see all we hope for, but we must understand that our personal hopes may find realization in the lives of those not yet born.

    nationalism, patriotism, ideologies, dogmas - are at the core of division - division is at the core of conflict - conflict is at the core of war - war is at the core of suffering. Then you think that your ideology, your nation, your great great country will save you from suffering. When the very concept of nations against nations is the cause of your suffering. Don't believe in your country (or in outdated scriptures) - believe in life.

      Wrong. The servant of Isaiah 53 is Israel aka Jacob aka the Jewish people. Isaiah says so himself elsewhere where this servant is mentioned. Check out 41:8-9, 44:21, and 43:10. It is all there. Just read it. And make sure you use a proper translation from the Hebrew, and not the King James mistranslation.

    • @janishart5128
      @janishart5128 Před 3 lety +1

      The "New Testament" is NOT scripture that was given to mankind by God. NOWHERE did God ever mention the name "Yeshua/Jesus" to us - or tell us that He requires HUMAN BLOOD (a purely PAGAN ritual that God ABHORS!) as atonement for our sins. NOWHERE did God ever tell us that we need to be "saved", or pray to a dead man on a cross.
      This is a Jewish video and it is inappropriate to proselytize here. Jews do not believe in anyone named "Yeshua/Jesus", because God never said anything to us about anyone with that name, nor did He tell us that He requires HUMAN blood as atonement for our sins. PLEASE do some honest research on how Christianity started, and you WILL discover that it absolutely did NOT come from God. Learn from the rabbis, as commanded by God in Deut. 17:8-11.
