These are probably the best live sessions on the Internet. Absolutely stunning diversity and some stunning musicians really going for it.. Wow

Emmet has developed a winning formula ( or recipe ) : (1) Present high quality musicians ( 2 ) Play music that is not over the listener’s head ( 3 ) Swing for the rafters .
And play with unmistakable joy!!!
Whilst the Greats such as Oscar Peterson may have passed on, the likes of Emmet Cohen give real hope for the future. He's a joy to watch in action.

Isn't it lovely to hear this friendly co-operative artistic performance just the way it should be. Houston is quite a strong controlled player and the versatile and sensitive developing support is excellent. All beauty, balance, a bright moment (wouldn't Rahsaan love it!) Bravo.

Phil Woods solo on this tune shouldn’t be compared in any way with Houston Person.
Phil Woods aggressive tone, superb lines and incredible phrasing is simply beyond anything on this session. His solo on this tune was probably the absolute best solo EVER on a pop tune!
