After looking in both brick and mortar stores and online, we decided to purchase two of these mattresses during Prime Day. We liked that the mattresses are made in the US with high quality materials and has a great support team. After unboxing the mattresses and removing the plastic, it took 72 hours for one mattress to reach the full 12 inches and the other mattress, I didn't fully remove the plastic on the other one and it took another 3-4 days to reach the full height. The mattresses fit perfectly on our new platform bed frames. It was easy to put on the bedding as well. You can definitely tell the mattresses are semi-firm. Unfortunately, I could not give 5 stars for pain relief and softness. I have fibromyalgia and other joint pain. I thought with a more firm mattress that has support would help but I will have to put a 1-2 inch plush topper on top. Other than that, the mattress is truly comfortable. I get great support for my back and hips. If you are looking for a high quality mattress at a good price then I recommend this one. Yes there are others that may be less but definitely read the reviews, about the company and their return policy before purchasing.
