Sweet Jocelyn, sometimes those stains in the textiles don’t clean out! However, all is not lost as they can ALWAYS be dyed to another color, completely rendering the stain as gone! I’ve done that with several old blankets to make them look as old as they are and they’re beautiful! Tea or coffee works wonders to dye with!
That dish with the pine cone decoration is EVERYTHING. I'm in love.
I was so disappointed when I found the lid on the box. And then I found the dish on the other side of the rows!

I crochet and I noticed Andrew calling the crochet squares “pot holders”. Just an FYI that those are not pot holders, but squares to make into an Afghan. I also have been so jealous of a couple of the 50’s green Haeger pieces you have collected the past several months. I was beyond excited when I found an unmarked 50’s piece that used to be a lamp, but had been stripped of all the hardware. Not a chip on it. I purchased a lamp kit and will be once again bringing it back to life as a lamp. A huge thank you to you and Sue for your CZcams vids. I love you guys and don’t miss a day watching you 💕

I was wondering the same thing! I always took paper to flea markets to protect delicate things that I had to put in a box or bag together. I cringe when I hear the pieces clink together... :)

ahhh... all that paper towel to protect your goodies and yet you stack breakables on top of each other 😬 I'm starting to see why you may not notice dings at thrift shops until you get home...they make not make the journey safely. Your new camera is fantastic by the way :) !!
Maybe you could bring some dividers from boxes used to pack glasses to separate your treasures in the box.

Sometimes laying a blanket out in the sunshine can help get rid of some of that yellowing. Natural bleach :)

I just bought a wind muff for the camera and it should be here on Saturday. So that’s one problem fixed.

Oh the linens. I would have just taken them all. I loved the felt bunny, but there is so much stuff to fall in love with. The wind noise was very loud! But glad you have the new camera, the image quality is great.

I think that some people think that is fun, or just jealous. They are on every site. On you tube they don't have to identify themselves but just think, all those negative people are around us in real life,

Textile Heaven , you should get some to cushion your treasures. The weight of the top pieces will damage what's in the bottom of box. I am cringing, those treasures have survived for decades, show respect. They are getting harder to find and one day they will be gone.
@Elishia Montenegro I love watching these guys they are awesome people and they work hard. I just feel like these pieces deserve great care since they are fragile by nature. Had not someone at sometime protected them from damage, they would not be there for the finding. Also I have lived in that area of the country and it is rich in treasures, the rest of the country, not so much. Never see the bounty of goodness like that here in NC or FLA. With that said. Seeing all the textiles, it just makes sense to protect the purchases by using them as a cushion. PLEASEEEEEEE

So glad you grabbed that red, white, and blue Afghan. That pattern is called hair pin lace. One of the most difficult, time consuming, and complicated stitches. It is created by looping yarn around two rods and then crocheting in the middle. Excellent pick

OMG! Complete and total awesomeness! The Shalimar perfume bottle is beautiful. Although my tastes are different than yours and I would keep some of the things you put back and put back some of your keepers, I enjoy seeing all the things you buy. "Double up on videos" - such exciting words! Looking forward to the haul videos.
This was my favorite flea market video. This must be what it's like when Drew gets there early. Probably crazier. Such fun.
OMG that looks like so much fun! :D I would love to find a treasure trove like that lol. I would say that as far as little dings in pieces go, if the item is unique enough I would totally get it! I have a number of items I've purchased that were just too pretty to leave that have a chip, ding, nick, or even a broken antler. But the design, color, shape, or lines were just gorgeous ♥ Can't wait to see the haul for this!!

Aww, I hated to see this shopping trip end...amazing finds. Now I will go to my Goodwill and if I’m lucky I will find an old beat up, unsigned vase, covered with chips, doinks, and cracks! But, I will still love it!
Thier videos are staged i believe maybe not the flea markets but the goodwills and community aids...i feel like people go in there and hide stuff...there no way u can find that much good stuff on every trip..bc my goodwill is the same a figurine with a glued on head or a vase with a crack in it but its haeger 💁

Great finds at the flea market. It's true you can find better deals at flea markets & antique shops & antique malls. Thrift stores are over pricing lots of glass & ceramic items & some are moderately damaged. Antique stores have great deals right now.♡

Guys, why didn't you use those wrappings to layer between your things? You will need all your buying when you get your store. My mom bought constantly before she opened hers and the store seemed empty at opening. Oh darn! She had to shop even more...her favorite thing to do. Lots of cool things today!!
That light blue lettuce leaf looking vase looks like a Haeger. I recently picked up a miniature version of it.

Drew~ The sausage song, what can I say? Classic. Really, I have found myself humming that ditty last night while cooking sausages and giggling like crazy. Went back to this vid just to make sure I got the word lay out right, Its easy to add to it too, Like would you like some onions, ... would you like some peppers.... Little did you know you would gift us with something so fun and spontanious. By the way, they do look good.... they deserve their own ditty. Thank you

That glass knife is awesome. It’s a Dur-X from 1920s-40s. I had one new in box that was my grandmother’s and gave it to my niece for her wedding cake.
Lucite candle is from the late 70's-early 80's. I had gold ones with golf flecks in them. l also have the 3D rose cover, but mine is all white. It looks like an astronomical amount of time went into it.
Your new camera, love the visual quality. The wind is bad, even with the wind I love it when y’all go to the flea market.

My mother could fix the crocheted bed covers and table cloths! She could repair them so that no one would ever notice. It was a labor of love and she enjoyed doing it. Find a person who can crochet and see if you can make a deal with them to fix any little flaws in your wonderful finds. Loved this video and your camera work is always perfect!

If the staining won’t come out of the beautiful linen you can always tea stain it. Of course you can dye it too but tea staining makes it more vintage looking . My Grandmother used to tea stain linens years ago. 🌹

Oh my goodness, I have been looking for one of those crocheted coverlets for years, but never found one ( I could afford)! I finally just started collecting crocheted place mats and doilies and when I get enough, I’m going to piece them together. I have a maple 4 post bed that is crying out for it😂!

I LOVE chenille bedspreads and have been looking for a queen sized one forever. The ones I have found are twin or full and the newer ones just aren't the same quality as the older ones. Looked like there was quite a few in those boxes. Yes I think this time you should keep Stanley. He just keeps coming back home. LOL You found so many wonderful things though. Can't wait to see the haul video.

Those red faux candles are a mid-century thing I have some clear ones With glittery silver and gold pieces inside. They're fun to put in your candle holders while you're not burning anything just for decoration. I'll bet you could get at least 15 for the color of that set. Wow, I wish I had a place like this! maybe I don't, as I would probably go broke. :-) as usual your video brought joy to my morning. Thank you :-)
