The old Route 17! I can't believe there's still a sign up (at 44:25) for The Red Apple Rest!!! I wonder who is still paying for the sign after all these years? I haven't lived in NY for 38 years, and it's really fantastic to see signs for Sterling Forest and "groovy" Greenwood Lake (as they used to advertise on the radio) as you travel up to beautiful Sullivan County, where I spent my summers growing up. Thank you for the ride! P.S. The Red Apple Rest had the best grilled cheese sandwiches ever!
I actually watched most of this. I take it Monticello Village is nicer than Monticello, which isn't nice these days. But they have a diner people seem to like. I felt like I was sitting next to you. Nice video.
