The point system in this game is so outdated and old. Including the maps. They could easily improve the game by making it a straight ticket battle. Each team gets a number of tickets per match and this could be 1000-1500 which is the average ticket losses per game for 200-300 players. Remove the point from the map so there is no more defenders and attackers. Defenders generally will lose the match unless attackers make a very huge mistake, and even so attackers are still likely to win.
I feel the point system is the way it is to keep it historically accurate.
If it was just tickets, ppl would just be running all over the map. But the way it is means everyone needs to stay together to decrease the morale penalty for dying.
This forces everyone into a line battle.
Yeah, it makes the game niche, but that's part of the charm.
