In this clip, Yung Joc is asked about most rappers wearing jewelry that also makes them a target, and he went on to speak about the dangers of approaching potential robbers. Yung Joc explained that he’s not worried about flexing in public, and he added that he’s giving up anything if someone tries to rob him. Speaking more about PnB Rock, Yung Joc explained that while he had sense, he pointed to PnB Rock speaking about people trying him recently. Yung Joc then explained that he’s protecting himself 100% of the time anymore, which led to him speaking about things that he’s seen in the past.

He's right. I've been this close to a shooting a couple times (thankfully I wasn't the target and thankfully I wasn't hit), and while it's happening, it's so fast that you don't really react. And unless you're looking in the direction of the shooter (which I was on one occasion) it's hard to pinpoint where the shots are coming from. I was in a gas station once, when a car drove through and passed me. Several shots were let off but because I was discombobulated by the sound, I didn't realize it was the car that just drove by and was behind me until several seconds later when it was off the lot of the station. Swivel indeed. I'll also take good fortune as well as the grace of God.

I remember watching the first 48 Dallas one day. Dudes wanted rob 2 cool dudes that they knew for some weed. One of the robbers was a straight demon that even before they came, he was like they not going to leave with their lives. Didn't even give them a chance to give it up. It was 3 robbers who were friends. Later on the crazy one plotted with the other guy to killll the 3rd one to not leave a witness. It's no honor amongst these dudes and some just really want to catch a body.
Then when Joc told that car story, it made me think of the great boxer Vernon Forrest who was robbed at gunpoint at an Atlanta gas station. He's an Atlanta legend. I guess his adrenalin and ego got the best of him because he ran after them after they robbed hin and they shot and killled him. Ish is sad
