Husqvarna Motorcycles HUSKY TREK | Queensland Country 2022 Feature

- Back for its third year, the Husqvarna Motorcycles HUSKY TREK was held in August this year and offered over fifty-five 701 Enduro and Norden 901 adventure riders and twenty-five Husqvarna Motorcycles staff the outstanding experience of five-days and 1800km exploring the beautiful South-East Queensland countryside.
With weather causing chaos in the lead-up to the Trek, it was a welcome surprise to be greeted by cloudless blue skies each morning of the event, which started and finished at the iconic Bunya Mountains.
Coming off last years’ Northern Explorer Husky Trek, which was held in the Northern NSW region, this years’ edition added an extra day and a new model, with the introduction to the Husqvarna Motorcycles adventure family of the Norden 901.
Riders were treated to a vast array of terrain, from flowing gravel roads to clay forest tracks, overgrown single track, tricky rocky creek crossings and even special access private property.
Watch the full length feature now, brought to you by Jorden Bethune from Flightcraft!

As a 901 owner, this video makes me filled with so much joy I can't believe it. I was grinning for almost a hour watching this. That was some heavy metal stuff!
I live in Spain, I have a 701 enduro and I love watching these Husqvarna videos every year, it's a joy.✌
Hey man. My wife is from Malaga and we live in Texas. Do you know of any bike rental places over there I could rent an enduro at?
Hope you are having a blast. Such a beautiful country to explore.
Some of the best filmmaking I’ve seen in the motorcycle world so far! Such a fun journey and thanks for capturing this!
SO nice to see these bikes actually getting ridden, bangin skidplates in an OEM promotional video, this is why Husky is the best! Love my 501s
Bloody brilliant once again, thanks Husky! See ya next year :)
Awesome video, i watched MAD TV video of this event and loved it, Dave and Nugget 🤙🤙. The Norden 901 is my dream bike, hopefully one day but probably not anytime soon because im a stay at home Dad. Husqvarna's are the best bikes!
Man is absolutely giving it the beans at 26:30
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. I'll be taking delivery of my 2023 Norden next Thursday and I'll be part of the Husky family :)
We've some decent routes here in Utah, but y'all have us beat by a long shot. Just paradise for bike riding.
Great video, I enjoyed it from the get go!
It made me smile when I saw "Rusty Rails Café," every February since 2009 a group of us, up to about a dozen go on our annual "Rusty Rails" trip. We usually alternate between the North and South Islands exploring where railways have been or are changed but in 2023 we are going to one of the "west Islands," Tasmania. It's always a great week awayexploring.
Hi from NZ,
Anthony.
Epic. Wish I was younger and fitter. It’s an absolute pleasure watching these types of videos.
Looks bloody awesome what an event
I loved this, I really want to come to the land down under and adventure ride, and I'm a HUGE fan of Lyndon!
Okay am I the only one who's jaw dropped seeing Rosie at Husky?
I love these Husqvarna Video’s ! Thanks Husqvarna I’ll see you out there one day on the husky trak
Epic footage! Makes me want to jump on my Norden 901 and haul ass! Braaaapppp 🇦🇺
A boring dirt road with horrible scenery is epic? You gotta travel more 😂🤣
Absolutely stunning video! What a great Husky community and what an awesome event guys! Keep up the good job U r doing! And as always, keep going with the 2 wheels down (;
Let's see some 100k mile engines with only oil changes
❤❤❤
Я из России, у меня Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 и Husqvarna Norden 901❤
Real nice. Have a te300i and waiting for my 901 to come in here in the US. Would love to be a part of one of these one year.
Can anyone come? Are there more of these else where in the world?
Thanks for sharing!
🏍💨
Awesome and fun event Husqvarna has arranged. But it is far away from denmark.
Thank you.
Nice to see your involvement Shaun Jubber.Hope it goes well for you.Cheers.
All Aussies need a keep left sticker on their dash!
Damaged tyre.
Loctite 406
Just don't (soak) it in water as it will dissolve after time.
By the way good save. 🔄
And there is nugget(wild one) with mad tv lov your ride to
😍 very nice event 😍
When in Italy 😜 ?
@23:20 he zigged when he should’ve zagged!
Just great footage and fun moments ! Wyatt tires are you usina on the 901’s?
Thanks Miguel! We were using a mix of Pirelli Scorpion Rally fronts, Pirelli MT21 rears, Dunlop 606 rears and Michelin Desert rears. The Dunlop is a bit narrow on the standard rear rim, but does hook up nicely in this terrain!
Hey Lyndon I've heard the husky 701 is already tuned to run an akrapovic full system on it ,is this right 👍
Was it Rosie in KTM's adventure rides?
Did I saw 501 in that mix ?
@Husqvarna Motorcycles Australia - Why isn't this event open to smaller capacity Huskys? A 501 with suitable fuel capacity for example would have zero issues completing the event and arguably (rider skill not withstanding of course) would eat up a lot of the harder terrain better than the big 901s do. I noticed KTM has rallys open to all road registered off-road capable bikes and you see everything from 250s to 890s.
I agree. I'm in my eighties now. Long ago we rode adventure with 125cc and 250cc two strokes. CZ. Bultaco, Montessa and the like. And then in about 1963 the Japanese started selling high quality bikes and put the squeeze on our market. I can see no reason why one needs anything bigger unless you are ruled by your testicles instead of your brains. If I buy a new bike today for adventure riding I'll look for something in the 400 to 650 range, maybe a 250 or so but four strokes are different than two strokes. A different animal altogether. Anyone who has ridden a hot two stroke off road knows what I'm talking about. It's more important to have a large capacity fuel tank than a large engine unless you are in company with a van filled with spare parts and petrol as, I suspect, many You Tube riders have.
Anyone know that what is the meaning of "Keep Left!" sign?
hello everyone, what a great organization and what harmony. I have 1 question and hope someone can help. I am looking for the brand and type of jacket that Rob Kerber the GPS expert is wearing at the 2:26mim of this documentary.
thank you so much already
Greetings Adil
The marketing manager incorrectly pronouncing Husqvarna, Priceless!
How do we attend this event? 901 owner(12,000+ miles)
Hi Eric! If you live in Australia - be sure to check out all the event information on the Husqvarna Motorcycles website - www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com/en-au/experience-the-brand/Events/husky-trek.html
And stay in touch with your local authorised Husky dealership, as they will have the info on when the 2023 event will be happening!
It's a husky bring ya tow rope and 2 fuel filters. And welease wodger!...
Husqvarna not HusqAvarna
Pretty sure the company knows how to pronounce their own name correctly
@@jadenantal1652 - yes they do and they don’t pronounce it with an ‘A’ in the middle as expressed by some when they say Husq-A-varna
Husky
The 701 up quick shift does not work, and will get you killed in an intersection.
