- My Philips 9000 series shaver warned me the heads needed replacing. So, let's find out how?
EDIT: Over a year later, the same set is still giving me a clean shave.

All company names mentioned, are theirs, I'm just mentioning them in passing!
Thanks I did order the same one. Kind regards André van den Elsen
You're welcome.
Great video. I would like less details and talking and getting quickly to changing out the blades. But, great job. Thank you.
Excellent. Really helpful.
I'm glad it's help! Mine are only just starting to need changing again.
I resharpen mine with a little bit of polishing compound or regular toothpaste, no gel. Just has to have some grit to it for sharpening.
Hello, can you tell me where I can order such a blue mounting plate? Or what is the name of this? Kind regards André
Please describe the shape.
Wonder how these razors knows when it's time to change the blades.
I have the model with the automatic cleaner btw.
I'm guessing, it's just got a counter in it, on how long it's been spun for. As I say, just a guess though.
Are those heads as good as original ones? BTW, where did you find them?
This past month, is when the shaver has said to replace them. They've never pulled a whisker, through being blunt. I found them on Amazon.
@@RetroBoxRoom Are they as good as the originals?
Please note when the video was made. I've been using them until now. They gave just as close shave as the original ones.
After how many use did the light button coma on ?
Oh I'd had it for about a year, most of the time I shaved every day.
The replacement cutters are Counterfeits, not Genuine Philips
They're not counterfeits, because they never try to say they're made by Philips.
Whatever they are, the same set are still shaving my chin.

I have seen those cutters packaged in What Look like Philips/Norelco Boxes. The Real Ones have a different shaped whisker channel on the circumference of the cutter, and, and do not have the Ring of tiny Holes near the center of the foil.
I mean the plate you are working on.
There are many different types, but I use this one. amzn.eu/d/dtHUzvU
I hope that helps?
Grow a beard. Problem solved! 🤣
I wish I could, but I'll never get to the Grizzly Adams point! Lol
