Bei Bei's Farewell #2 - You'll Be In My Heart

- The love between these two will forever mark a change in my own life. It was as if the floodgates of panda love opened my heart, just by watching Momma nurture tiny Bei Bei. And it only got better from there.
We decided to divide his farewell movies into with Momma and after. Truth is, the weening broke our heart into a million pieces - it was terribly hard for us. But in time, Bei Bei and Momma were so resilient - they taught me lessons there too - and life went on. We humans tend to hold on to things way too long.

The love between Mei Xiang and Bei Bei is so special and we hope this shows it. We will forever be grateful that Mei and BeiBei came into our life and will always miss this time, and our precious Bei Bei. Were it not for the pandemic, we would already have gone to see him in China.

Up until now, I was doing sort of okay with him leaving. I knew it was coming. But watching this and reliving the sweet memories started the tears flowing. Good luck, sweet Bei Bei. Make lots of beautiful babies and know that millions of people love you.

This is such a wonderful video!!! Thanks for posting. You definitely can see how much Mei loves her Bei Bei. She is so sweet to him, hugging him in every position (while lying down, sitting up), holding him, saving him gently from his nervousness on the tree and after fallen with a yelp from the boulder, letting him climb all over her, kissing him. They are so affectionate and playful with each other. It's so endearing 🐼. I love them both 💕. I laughed when watching Bei Bei wading in the water enjoying himself. We all miss him terribly. I wish he could have stayed here forever. Sometimes when I watch all the farewell movies, and so many others, I just sob. He and Momma truly saved my life with their love. 贝贝好像适应了国内的生活，他的姐姐宝宝，好像不太顺。。。。
And just 6 mos later they had inseminated Mei all over again. She's now 22 and if you google it, should no longer be bred. She's in the last few years of her life. She's now birthed another cub in Aug 2020 and is thin and looks tired. Way too old to be this zoo's endless baby machine.
Momma loves being a momma more than anything....she's madly in love with her new boy and only looks thin because she fasted for his birth. Don't worry, Momma will be just as wonderful with her new cub as she was with Bei Bei. Lun in Atlanta was only a year younger when she had her twins and Er Shun was similar in age. Both were brilliant mommys.
i agree, we can see how meixiang takes great care of xiaoqiji and is happy to have him in her life. but still, human beings are just to selfish in this regard, in the name of saving endangered species
