    Ps: it’s just a theory, and this second album can just be the next album he drops, not necessarily soon.

  • @jln5626

    J Cole is the Lebron James of rap. No matter how much he does, people expect perfection and they hate.
    Kendrick and Drake are ALLOWED to be whack (even though they’re not). J Cole is expected to be PERFECT. He doesn’t get to make an album like “More Life” or a basic song like “LOVE”

    • @jln5626
      @jln5626 Před 6 lety +7

      Jorge Aguilar “idiot” was kind of mean, but you’re really sensitive if you’re offended by me saying “bitch”. . J Cole is the only human I really want to meet and thank for the art he’s shared with us (the fans). I’ve looked up to him as a person and musician almost my whole life.
      I’ve come to accept that he is just better than Kendrick Lamar to ME and as much as it seems like an obvious argument from my POV, other people actually think other wise. Like, no matter how much I can’t understand that, it’s a fact. So I’ll just enjoy my Dreamville and keep watching the things related to a person and topic that I admire. On the other hand, idk why you’re even here

    i imagine this as album to re open doors for people who have been walking in th other direction and dont think theres a way in this hell. Its light work where J.Cole is giving this hope. I think its really him jumping back to a location where others are stuck at and is warming up or replanting this seed for others to realize there garden is fucked up. I dont think J.cole has really put out something YET since he came back from this awareness that has displayed him different. We all know cole was never a rapper abt drugs. This album is SATIRE for what is going on now. I believe by him introducing the next album on this album (which is one of th hardest tracks) is only by planting this seed. When “th fall off” drops i think he prepped everyone to expect or become ready considering his platform. He has shifted into such an artist from his original point i dont think he couldve just jumped straight to th treasure chest without prepping people for th journey// to see what he sees.

    “The Fall Off” sounds like an endgame project... 😩. In “For Whom the Bell Tolls” it’s like he’s saying his time is coming in the rap game regardless of his solidified spot. Then he did that verse on “Jermaine’s Interlude” talking about thoughts of retirement. Now we have an endgame sounding album coming up next. Just a thought but hopefully I’m wrong.

    • @chrisa7040
      @chrisa7040 Před 6 lety

      Success_4_Brkfst idk bro the timeline is messed up somewhere. If you listen closely KOD sounds like it fits perfectly after Born Sinner cause you can hear ‘Lil Cole’ more mature on KOD. Take into account that while he was in NY around that Born Sinner era he had all the jewels and diamonds which he lowkey hated. FHD definitely was the end album IMO, and 4YEO is the “lost file” cause when Cole said “and this album remains locked in a hard drive like valuable jewels.” With the passing of his friend he HAD to drop 4YEO. But let’s backtrack a bit... Cole has a set of horns and a halo. For albums, Demon Cole gave us Born Sinner and Halo Cole gave us everything else. Demon Cole is alive and well all over KOD. Except... J. Cole placed “Mature Simba” into today’s society and it fits perfect and a bonus for Cole is that he knew/knows many people who suffered from addiction of drugs. As for now drugs are reallllllly getting outa control. He probably smoked weed before a couple times so he does have a first hand experience of being high on a level

    One of the tracks is listed as an intro to "The Fall Off" which might be noted as The Fall Out, but I think that The Fall Off is something different. Either it's another project as stated here, or potentially links back to ATM, as it begins with the exact same "choose wisely" heard in the intro to The Fall Off. I just want to know what that connection would be if ATM is The Fall Off.

    I feel like the last track is an intro to the actual fall off of these rappers and the trends they are using. I feel like he is more giving advice and not hinting at a new project. I feel this way because I feel like 1985 is more him just putting his arm around all of these young rappers and telling them what he thinks is going to happen. Of course I hope I am wrong and another Cole album is on the way because who wouldn’t want that but I don’t know where he would go with that intro as far as an album goes. I feel like the only direction he could go based off the last track is right back into the same album. I just think the subject he could address are already in this album. My opinion

    i actually think the "second album" is KOD backwards. That way it plays like a foreshadow starting with 1985. Playing it forward plays like looking back from where he is now.

  • @ArmidaMusic
    @ArmidaMusic Před 6 lety

    Isn't it obvious? I mean, Window Pain is the "outro" of the album, while 1985 is the "intro" to the next stage.
    However, it might be just the name to say that this track's just the beginning of the fall off after being overdosed and escaping reality.

    My theory is that "1985 - Intro to the Falloff" perfectly flows into 2014 Forest Hills Drive "Intro" & "January 28th" with identical symbols like the 'king'/'we're all kings' & about 'medicine' 'women' 'money'...
    No follow up album to this one.

    My opinion, "Intro to the Fall Off" is just another jab at the rappers he is talking to in the song 1985. He is introducing them to where they will Fall Off and fail. Might not mean another new album despite me wanting that to be the case.

    I don’t think the fall off is an entirely new project. I believe it’s actually another diss at the new age rappers. Meaning that it’s the intro to “the fall off” of mumble rap.

    Maaannn, I really want J cole on trap beats and everyone else does too, but its gonna be that conscious J cole and not whats gonna get him “poppin” like kendrick did with the black panther album and new freezer track.. ULTIMATELY he’s getting over his addiction for POWER
    But the follow up album will be a more ‘mellow’ beat album which won’t get him more numbers and might make him “Fall off” but instead of adapting, he’s staying true to himself.

      Go look on his twitter account. This whole album is an interlude to the real album. He was working on another and stopped for 6 months to do this one, but only took 2 weeks to really do and finalize. Also, read the article in Vulture that tells all about this one. The real album is coming, but he is not finished with it. It probably will be out the end of the year.

  • @axe7adrian

    Mmmmhhg maybe, but the fall off could be represented as the fall off of mumble rappers. I remember people did this claim that damn was “part one” of a two part album, and that Kendrick was going to release an album a week after damn ( or three days after, I forgot) but we got all our hopes up for nothing, having us criticized the length and passion of the album just to have it be a single album on its own.
