As someone listening from Kenosha, I'm already loving it. Seems like a nice premise for episodes.
The truck vs. boat question was a room full of guys who can write their trucks off for hunting or fishing, not thinking of all the other guys still keeping that ‘97 Tacoma Beater running.

From a yahoo not far from Sears in Kenosha, definitely I’ve fishing.
The alligator versus mountain lion question was an excellent question and I’m very interested in questions and scenarios like that. I’m taking my chances with the gator 79% because I’ve never seen anyone ride a mountain lion and “not that bad of killed” is a good quote.
If me and a black guy with gold teeth and hair like Joe dirt at the end of the movie could fall out of a canoe together, I say at least 74% of outdoorsman have fell out of a boat

I think it was a fun game, but it's too hard for folks driving to keep score and compete with the studio crew. I'm sure there's a decent number of us who listen as we drive.

Meateaters has the two best games on the Internet. Hnads down and the podcast is with Steve is great too.

I like a new format from time to time, it’s like high low. It lets people play that aren’t as good at certain categories (fishing or American geography for me)
At this point dont even hide the beers in the coozies lol. Brodie killed one off at 30:30. pretty funny.
Interesting game. Maybe as a bonus, everyone writes down a number along with higher/lower and the person with the closest to the correct % without going over wins an additional 5 points.

I don't know how they were so far off on the gun inheritance question. I assumed damn near all hunters got most of their guns handed down to them??? At least that's how it was in my group of friends. It's 100% not 72% for us.

It’s somewhat in reference to the Christmas games when they play family feud. Steve always gets upset because he doesn’t know the people who are being asked the survey questions. They’re just random people who get asked
Ah.. The only reason I ask is because I live in Kenosha, WI and know the old Sears’s they are referring to. Didn’t know if anyone had ties to Kenosha.

I liked Steve’s idea about polling a broader sample of hunters/fishers to get a better representation of the general hunting public vs polling a select group of employees etc that are deeply affiliated with hunting and fishing on a daily basis.

Of anything Meat Eater I’ve ever listened to, Spencer and Chef Andy have the most radio friendly voices. Just saying. Andy is really good at trivia too. Personal experience.
I enjoyed the new format. However, I didnt keep my own score. I just played along. I didnt know people took their trivia scores in a game they didnt actually play so seriously.
Also, the people complaining about being at work, driving, etc and saying they cant keep score I guess you watch it when you have the time? I found the format way more engaging personally. In the OG format I find that if theres a question I truly have no clue about I kind of tune out until the next one.
I dont know, I think theres room for both formats with some tweaking to rhis new one.

I love to play along with MeatEater Trivia. Gotta say, though, this new game sucks. It's not even as fun as the annual Family Feud style game where at least there are multiple answers on the board to possibly guess and the points system makes sense. With this game, the players are really just pulling the numbers out of their asses and the scoring is confusing. I hope you drop this one and keep with the good stuff.

Congrats on 100, but I hated the format. Too much of a crap shoot. Very little actual knowledge involved, just a bunch of guesses and gut feelings. That is my opinion.
