I can confirm that this does not work. Atleast not for my wizard. After 30mins MA, Card Drop Progress (Pity Progress) is 7.2% for peco peco egg, Condor 27.6%. I use wizard with 1.6s seconds cast of meteor storm + T3 Dunnel, level 62.

7.2% card pity progress for 30 minutes MA is super slow, Paladin with Grand Cross just like in this video can do 35% card pity progress for 30 minutes. For Wizards, you need to farm with Gravity Field and try to spawn-kill the monsters.

Personally dont think this is a good idea. It's always better to farm purple card directly especially there's card deck system now. Luck plays a factor and u may just get purple cards at 1% from time to time. Unless one can consistently get at least 2-3 peco egg card per 30 minutes session, then it's arguable.
Selling sigil is also not advisable. The purpose of getting zeny is to invest in items that could strengthen your character.
But you can do that directly by upgrading the "unneeded sigils". The collection stats are huge when u upgrade all of them. Each of them accumulate to alot of HP boost and pdmg/mdmg reduction.
Not only that, you'll get sigil collection stats.

The comparison between farming this spot versus directly farming purple cards are shown in the later part of this video. There are times that you may consider directly farming purple cards, there are also situations that you may farm this spot for zennies instead. This is because, card pity system is quite tricky. Lets say, you get a Hydra Card at 1% pity at your first try, now you want to farm for your second Hydra Card, this time, the pity system will require you to complete 199% of card progress in order to reach to pity your second Hydra Card. The remaining 99% from your first Hydra Card actually added to the burden of pitying your second Hydra Card. I have farmed all my purple cards, mostly two copies of them, and while i may be lucky on getting the first copy of the card, i certainly pity the second copy. This means, getting two copies of the same cards actually required me 200% pity.
With regards to the Sigils, selling sigils that you dont need and buying Sigils that you need is the better way in here. This is because Zennies are rare in this game (unless you obtained it with real $$$, hence, this guide is titled F2P). A high level Sigils that you are using will benefit you more than the what ever stats you get from leveling your unneeded Sigils. Just unlock the unneeded Sigils and use the Sigil Fragments you get to leveled them up. Imagine, you have Level2 God of Gamblers and Level2 Dispersive Shockwave that you are not really deploying, but your Deadlock Aurora is only Level2. Therefore, the better way in here is to sell the unneeded Sigils and buy the Sigils that you are going to deploy and max level them ASAP. The stats and attributes of the undeployed Sigil do not affect your character, so its not worth to leveled them up, sell them instead and boost your deployed Sigils.

@@KurisNiZai u sure the 2nd card pity rate is 199% ? that don't make sense because when u get ur first at 1%, the second u will get at 100% pity regardless and so on so forth.
unless your implying the "rate" or time for you to accumulate 100% pity for the second card is slower than usual. but this has proven to be false experientially by blueberries or myself.
besides, you can't prove the burden of 99% of 1st card is thrown onto the 2nd to make it 199%. there's just no way anyone can prove that.
im a 100% f2p and still believe it's better to get sigil collection stats than selling them. because blue sigils is so easy to get and at large amount from juperos, so levelling them is easy.
I think people are smart that no one's selling surging protection, the only purple sigil that is actually useful and worth levelling, but you can't get them with zenies. most of other purple sigil are trash and as worth selling as blue ones. there's limited amount of deployable sigil and let's get real, after deploying surging, the rest are gonna be red or at least golden sigils. which only obtainable via nyan or diamonds.
so the idea of selling blue ones to get purple ones isn't really feasible.
besides, it takes alot of flawed sigil crystal to up their levels too given that as f2p, you can only get 2 per week.
of course, using zenies to buy refine items and cards is not a bad idea. not debating on the sigil part since it's subjective.
it's just that lessons learnt from illusion card fragment where people smartly sold them for diamonds only to become fools when u need alot of them to unlock the card set now.
so i kinda hold on that there is virtue in saving things and not selling them for quick zenies or diamonds because we don't know what kind new updates come whereby previously irrelevant things can turned out relevant. like previously useless cards are now needed for deck system.
a part of me believe some things sooner or later will be made more easier to acquire so that the game can progress overall, like smeldon availability, fragment drops, and so on. the game can only progress so we are going to upgrade our golden sigils (which are almost impossible at current rate) sooner or later. so i don't want to focus on purple ones.
like illusion fragments, it's unthinkable we can even get 2.5k of them to get 1 card. but then, we have mvp fevers and gallop server, and now i got 4 of them.
if im not mistaken, when 3rd job patch comes, some new features also requires "trash" item like unwanted verus cores and etc. so unless you're really desperate, i personally wouldn't trade stuff for quick zenies nor diamonds.

@@baraqijal9274 Yes, if you put it that way, the time to accumulate 100% pity for the second card is slower. The pity for the second copy of your card will be twice as long if you get your first copy at 1%. I know this for sure because i am farming this peco peco card for quite a long time now and i get a peco peco card at 3% pity. After getting it at 3% pity my card pity progress for peco peco card became 18% per 30 minutes instead of the usual 36%. So yeah, the burden carry overs. This holds true even at purple cards. My current pity progress for Thara Frog Card is now at 1.5% every 30 minutes instead of the usual 3%.
You can visit the market within 5 minutes of after it resets, there you may find some Surging Protection on sale. All purple Sigils can be bought in the market using zennies. Just be fast enough to snap it since there are many other players who wants it too, just snap buy it before they do. This means the idea of selling unneeded Sigils in order to buy needed Sigils is very much possible. And let me put it clear, the stats of the undeployed sigils will not affect your character stats, so if you believe that you will not deploy this certain Sigil, just sell it to get good zennies. Just unlock the unneeded Sigils for the unlock bonus, but do not force your self to level it, its not worth it.

    • @KurisNiZai
      @KurisNiZai  Před 8 měsíci

Thara Frog Card sells for 600k? Last time i check it sells for 512k zennies in the early days of our server, it includes some dividend bonus, so its sells for a good price. However, now there is no dividend bonus in selling cards in the black market, and i assumed that Thara Frog Card would sell for 400k only. I could not confirm the current selling price though, since my Thara Frog is already tiered, and it would cost me to revert it back.
