My husband has a bunch of sports cards (mostly baseball and hockey) and it’s a shame how much the market has bottomed out on them because they were ridiculously mass produced! So excited that lady called you back. The boxes of strategy guides, so sweet. But then the laser discs too. Wowza!!!!! So damn cool. Never heard of Lady Hawk or Free Jack. That house is hands down my favorite part of all the pick ups and it was free 🤯
The Instax is a fun little camera. I spent a good deal of my 20's using a Polaroid Land Camera. If youre interested in photography, land cameras are pretty cheap and the film is still availabe. It gives you a crisp well developed image that has a sort of 70's feel to it
She has become a friend of ours and is very cool 😀 She actually encouraged us to resell stuff because she wanted it all gone so she could move lol, she even says it in the video

Always get excited when I see a new video go up from you guys, always such a joy to check out and witness the hunt in action. Skylanders/Disney Infinity and the like I find can be hit or miss on value, but the ones that have decent are great to come across. Always cool to try to learn about some different stuff - as Chase says, you pay for your education. Not to take away from your TMNT Live action comment, but I personally have a love for Secret of the Ooze, introduced Tokka & Rahzar - two of my favorite characters to date (which is saying something since there have been and are so many outstanding characters). That lady is such an great person, goes to show how just being genuine and friendly can pay off in the long run. Holy crap I never realized how much some strategy guides are worth, I've seen stuff like Pokemon and all, but that is impressive to hear about it. I know nothing about Laser Disc, but it always great to see people finding something they have a passion for. All on just a casual mention as well, way to go Elisa. Not familiar with Lady Hawk or Freejack. That house is awesome and such a wonderful addition to the game room. Congrats on all the scores, always such incredible finds from you guys. I’ve worked at a card store for almost two years now look for vintage baseball pre 70’s 1980-90’s era of sports cards were mass produced you want Michael Jordan rookie or inserts and Kobe Bryant marvel cards can be huge though precious metal gems are highly sought after! Happy hunting!

Used to work at a mall and we shared dumpsters with GameStop, had a couple in my town so the mall one shut down eventually. They threw out all their game guides after nobody bought them for .1 which I don’t understand because I grabbed a good 40 of them and sold for $2-5 each at the half price books in the same parking lot
On the laser discs that are scuffed, use turtle wax! It fills cracks and helps restore old cds that make it playable. I always resurface last resort! wax it and use a microfiber cloth and in mr miagi motion take it off with dry cloth. Let me know how that goes :)!

Woah, nice haul! I think the laser discs were my favourite! Even though I sold my player long ago, I kept my Terminator 2 LD for the nostalgia. The first LD I ever watched was Aliens, when I was like 14, haha.
The Warlock Laser disk is a great find. I watched it on VHS a long time ago. It's really a good scary movie. You can ignore the 2 sequels, not that good.
At the time of the video there were sold comps ranging $1200-$1500, but the store we traded it to sold it for $1k, and one with a bit nicer box for $1200 😀
It was a moving sale. By the time we figured out how much everything was worth, it was about a month later. Plus, the lady selling everything knew better than we did at the time about the values of everything. She was just happy to let it go. She knew we would re-sell some of it and keep others, everyone was happy 😀
That trigger happy Skylander isn't 20, it's basically worthless. The trigger happy with the white/clear base is the one you might have looked at, which could get $20 if it's new
I would have bought the bowling game. So I’m in California. I don’t really tell people about my life and honestly don’t care what people think. As well as this is my opinion. Not blaming you nor Tendo…I’m subscribed to your channel and I have respect for you guys and what you do. I have been doing it since I was 16, my current collection is pretty high in count. I don’t have any attachment to retro what so ever. I seriously think the stuff people should be collections right now is current gen. With this being, and I’m pretty sure I’m right. Less copies of games are being made now then within the last 15 years. All these current gen discs are going to be worth a lot…then making ps4 and ps5 copies people will tend to the ps4 games since there is more ps4s in circulation. With digital on the horizon these current ps5 indies and etc discs, are going to be worth a lot. Anyway enough of me ranting…I am one of those guys that know that CZcamsrs killed it for game collecting…showing values, secrets, and etc. like I said I don’t think it’s your fault, it’s really everyone’s in general. It has never been as dry as it is now… I do it to support my family due to health issues I can’t really work full time…all these other people are doing it now it it as made the market run dry. That’s why nobody has been finding anything. If you want to hunt you have to hunt in no name towns/different state. Again I wouldn’t be subbed if I didn’t like you guys. But market is running dry and I believe the focus should be about current gen.
If you don't know anything about sports and cards you probably should not touch them especially for $50? Big names does not matter look for rare cards condition and rookie cards you got a lot of junk wax looks like but you will only learn by buying and researching them?

If those Skylander portals were Xbox you should have bought them. Playstation and Wii used the same portal so there are far less Xbox portals .

All sports cards from '89-'93 are pretty much garbage with a few rookie and insertion exceptions. Those are the years of massive over production.
