@Yael those who don't understand hockey training at all seem to comment the most about the drills used to master skating. Bet voshy has never even practiced a skating drill in his life. But BC he plays NHL 19 online, and watches some NHL games. I guess he knows everything about hockey. ;)
Why else practice till perfection. To teach others and showcase what can be achieved through practice. Practice is gruelling and painful. Humor helps when teaching others. It boosts moral when practice leads to failure till you get it right. ;) Just my humble opinion.
0:42 you can tell the video is sped up based on the kids movement in the background. 0:56 it's sped up again, all those backwards skating hand movements are unnatural

I noticed in his strides his arms are swinging left to right when they should be moving back and forth. Losing so much momentum from the side to side movement of his arms. You want that momentum to move you forward. You save so much energy in your strides.

She feels embarrassed BC she cannot skate like me, but I keep telling her practice practice practice. I'm 33, and hit the rink every day for at least an hour of power skating, balance, puck handling, and shooting drills. If you can do that or even 20 mins a day you will be good within a season or two.
@@IFXMusicAGREE!!, I'm 31 and I hit the rink session called "Adult shoot and score" aka "stick and puck" as much as I could, but if I'm busy, I minimum or 3 times a week including 1 game of "Adult drop in hockey". Based on my experience, I show off all my skating/hockey skills to all GIRLS!!! that I know. SPECIALLY THE ONCES WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO SKATE.. And I see 50% of them were VERY TURNED ON!! and the other 50% GOT REALLY SCARED and didn't give a fukk about me, LOL!!..
In all fairness this is impressive but completely useless and unnecessary. So u can can skate like a maniac. Okay.. can u actually play some hockey? Pls stop
