I'm writing a Post Apocalyptic Horror novel about Vampires myself, and I always wanted to see what other writers are doing with Vampires these days. I find it interesting causing Vampires to come out in the day to cause the Apocalypse. In the book I am working on my Vampire apocalypse happens in the aftermath of Nuclear War and Climate Change. I was more so inspired by Brian Lumley's Necrocope books, Vampire the Masquerade, the Vampire Hunter D books and movies, and the Legacy of Kain video games than Anne Rice. Nothing against Anne Rice personally, I just don't find her Vampires scary. That's all, but she did have an impact on my writing when I always kept saying to myself. You have to write something in this story that would make her fans buy this book.
is this going to be a trilogy? i want to know if i can start reading now or if i have to wait 10-15 years

I really wanted to like it but I haven't rolled my eyes reading a book this much since I was an edgy angsty teenager.
