  • Teaching from Romans chapters 11 and 12, Jen Wilkin expounds on Paul’s call to know and worship God in order to be transformed. We must ask “Who is God?” before we can know our own identity.
Wilkin outlines three truths about God that help us understand how to become living sacrifices for him:
    God has all riches
    God has all wisdom
    God has all knowledge
Because God owns all things, we cannot extort or blackmail him. Because God holds all information (knowledge) perfectly and effortlessly, he can judge us perfectly (wisdom). If we want to feel deeply about God, we need to think deeply about him. Meditating on God's riches, wisdom, and knowledge will ultimately transform us into Christ’s image.

Wonderful! As she mentioned I learned more about myself and more about God. I will listen again and study slowly piece by piece. I want this message engraved in my thinking and deep in my heart. Thank you, Jenn.

Loved this! At first i thought "oh no she is saying that (its a book about god not about you) again", but just like you said - repetition is very important!! Also, i feel like in this talk you went a bit deeper into that theme: I learn about myself by learning about god. I need to understand god first, so i can understand myself. Franky, i dont really need to know myself or how i was before being transformed. I need to know god, thats important.

Is she teaching a woman's class or is it a mix of men and women or a congregation? If a mix or congregation has she not read But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Jen Wilkin often teaches to men. But sadly, that is one of the MANY things dangerous about her. She should no longer be taken seriously as a Godly teacher.

“The God of the Old Testament (the Bible) is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”

I disagree.. with your transformation definition. It is written , we have been given a new heart, the new heart has the Holy Spirit residing in it. The love of God has been put in, The mind is transformed by the heart not the other way around. We have been given the mind of Christ to understand the heart.. the word and the way of God. We don't have wicked hearts in Christ.. it couldn't be transformed it had to be removed and replaced. Praying for the truth to set us free.

You should be ashamed of yourself to call Samson a Dirtbag, who are you to judge, as though you are not, the Lord god chose people and brought them fourth that we may learn the truth of a matter the things which are written, all people should be respected from the least to the greatest, time and time and time again I hear people putting down the people in the Bible as though they are above all, have you become like the pharisee, thank you Lord that you have not made me like this tax collector, did not the Christ die to save us, it was for this purpose he came into the world, without his death no one is saved, the ignorance that is so rife in the so-called preachers of today, I would rather spend my time with King David and Samson, and be proud to call them my friend, then with so many ignorant judgemental disrespectful so-called Christ believers, you should all be ashamed of yourselves.
