In red's defense, he only ran away in version A since the monster wasn't already at the door, and he ain't stupid enough to fight it. Doesn't matter if it's heroic or cowardly. Version B, the monster was at the door (with orange being swallowed up), so yeah he took thee chance to take him out.

Endings for both versions: Version A Ending 1:you are heading to planet earth by a small pod. Ending 2.you are going to oofed because of other aliens because you didn't go to earth. Version B Ending 1.You know how to control the ship and land safely(Version A is going to have a rougher land) Ending 2. You have no idea how to drive and gonna crash the ship and get oofed.Ending 3.it's on auto mode and the rest is exactly like the first ending(oof the grammar). Edit: Ending I made up: orange escaped once he/she saw cyan getting killed and only red and yellow survived,he opened the airpod and ran as fast as he could and red treated the imposter like how he did in version B

Honestly I feel bad for cyan and orange in version A. They both sadly died trying to run from that imposter. Ending B on the other hand is more epic when the imposter is then kicked out and dies by freezing
But they both died again in ending b :(
So basically in ending a the most common ending red runs away to the exit after getting released wallet ending bee he gymnastics we tricks the imposter into charging into the airlock you probably have to do some kind of bonus action or Express anger when finding the bodies

because he didn't leave his spaceshift plane, and if version A he immediately ran to the emergency plane, if version B he tried to save his friend and took out his impostor, but in Version A, he went straight to the emergency plane to save himself, not saving his friend
but impostor goes to red in B and doesn't care about red in A

Version A: I gathered all the evidence, and I figured out the Impostor. But I was too scared so I escaped from the Impostor and left my friends, and I let the Impostor mess up the whole ship. Now they are dead. (Bad Ending)
Version B: I gathered all the evidence, and I figured out the Impostor. So I battled the Impostor and attempted to eject him from the ship to save the entire Crew, still as the last survivor. (Normal Ending)
I spotted another difference in 0:33. In Version A, three people skipped the vote, but only one in Version B.
It was just a animation error

At 3:03, that's where the whole thing changed. The impostor chose to go after orange instead of red for the bad ending in Version A. But in Version B, he chose to go after red, and red distracted him with the papers for the good ending in Version B.

Version A Ending: Detective Escape's the skeld in fear through an escape pod and left the imposter (purple) there alone with no other victims.
Version B Ending: The Detective KILLS the imposter by launching him out into space and freezing him to death.
What do you mean left the Impostor there alone with nothing to do?Purple is an Intelligent creature he killed all the crewmates and I don't think he can't lead a ship where he stayed at for a few days, Purple might lead the ship to Earth and tricking the humans and kill them

Version a:
Purple(imposter) transforms into the parasite form it was then purple eats cyan orange sees cyan die orange cancels the eject on red before getting eaten then red runs to the a escape pod. The imposter(purple) starts to follow red at full speed, red pulls the lever to close the doors along with almost getting eaten but in a nick of time the pod ejects, leaving purple on the ship alone while red is alone.
Version b:
The detective distracts purple(the imposter) then red(detective) throws his notes purple(imposter) eats it so red(detective) buys some time and throws his hat against the lever to eject, then purple(imposter) was still eating the notes before being ejected then after that purple gets ejected and freezes to death in matter of seconds. Red and orange are left but near the end end of the song orange is nowhere.
The impostor rules the skeld in version b, but he died in version A
