You must keep way on her when there’s wind at play. You can’t manuver a vessel that’s stationary, the higher the wind the more way is needed. If the boat is twin screw, you have a definite advantage.
Everyone is saying "too fast", but it is his way of making a margine to hus advantage here. As he cant be sure of how strong the wind is on different places he is passing and speed is his friend.
Parking what amounts to an overgrown skiboat is always more challenging than a real boat. The attraction to "go fast" with zero keel will never cease to amaze me. And look very closely at the guys who drive these boats... by trying to achieve speeds greater than 10 kts out in open ocean, they have chipped all their teeth trying to sip a beer while "catching air" due to high speed in ordinary ocean swells.
Sometimes "positive" imputs are needed, even more so in the case of strong winds. You didn't learn that in the "youtube how to become a captain school"?
Such an odd looking design...looks like a toy. I don't know if I can get used to it. The windows look bizarre to me. I guess I prefer the more classic styles.
coming in hot, no fenders deployed, no ground tackle deployed to control the bow swing. Yikes, after this vid ends I guarantee that boat ground its rail against the sailboat next to it.
No, cone on man! He did a great job. She kissed the boat next door with her fenders. You don’t need emergency ground tackle if you know what you’re doing
Seriously? It's only 40' and has bow thrusters + twin drives. My mother could dock in that double wide slip in that boat. Why waste the time and electrons filming this? Can I get my two minutes back?
I love watching these guys getting these boats in those small slips. These boats are incredible. Thank you for posting.
Not easy, a windy day.
Granted, a first timer could not have done it, but that was a very generous slip. You won't be able to swing around like that in most Marinas.
see the note from stan mute above...
When you’re docking in high winds you have to be more assertive (not aggressive) with the throttles. He did a great job!

Sunseeker in the background is taking all my attention at 1:12
Bow thrusters sure makes life easier
Real game changer is bow and stern thrusters
In der Ruhe liegt die Kraft, mein Lieber...
Man könnte meinen es handelt sich um einen Charterkapitän von der Müritz 🤣😉
I think they did well fair play to them
On a plane with the fenders still out. Real classy.
@ Douglas, Italian style, modern, like or not, but don't get you indifferent...
I like very much the sailor!!!!

Well Done
Is it Marine Greenwhich / Campomanes?

We're locked Cooper.
''not easy windy day'' um I saw enough room for tht boat to fit longitudinal in that slip and then it was pushing against the sailboat!
Pues no lo hace mal del todo, ¿no?. Claro que aunque la hélice de proa le echa una mano, lo resuelve rápido y bien..
Asi es, buena maniobra, claro que la helice de proa ayuda y mucho.
Not sure but the girl looked fine

Indeed... super pooper!!
You pulled it off, but damn man, slow down. No need for all that throttle. You have bow thrusters. and twin screws.

Her boyfriend sure could handle his boat.
Try without using the bow thrusters...
Good boat, too fast and powerful joystick system
Wow, the Skipper is to stupide to handle a IPS-Joystick ! 😂

Made it look easy. Javier anytime there is a girl in a bikini that looks hot we need zoom shots 👀😜
Oh
girl is a 10, docking? meh.

It looks like it's got IPS so just a joystick control to point. My granny could do it
I want to see you in the same condition and maybe without a great experience. All capitains under a pc
Horrible job.
