IN FINLAND THEY CALL IT HOBBY HORSE, AND IT'S PLAYED BY MORE THAN TEN THOUSAND PEOPLE .
THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP DREW AN ESTIMATED ONE THOUSAND SPECTATORS FROM ALL OVER FINLAND.
IN THIS ALMOST ENTIRELY FEMALE SANCTUARY GIRLS FEEL FREE FROM BULLYING AND SEXISM.

correction "most of all the hard work" i hate it when people say that the horse does all the work but you have to understand that it is a partnership and a horse can only be as good as the rider and the rider can only be as good as the horse.

Tbh I do ride horses irl but i also find this fun and i do jump, just without the hobby horse as i always get distracted when im holding one but i find it really fun and cool, the people who do this in my opinion are really talented because they are really good jumpers and do it with ease, i do have a hobby horse myself but dont use it much, so generally its awesome🐎💙🕊🌼💮👢👚

This "sport" or whatever isn't exactly a sport. Riding an actual horse, however, is a sport. This just gives me a vibe that they're basically being wannabes. No I am not trying to offend anyone, this is just my opinion/point of view of it. And most importantly, saying "this is not the same as horseback riding, because the rider does all the work" excuse me?! The rider does most of the work even doing actual horseback riding. To sum all that up for you: "Get Your Facts Straight"

I don't even know what to say. I think hobby horsing is not a sport at all. there is not even any physical activity, and no need to train. you know, I can also jump and run with a stick between feet. This is a hobby for little kids who can't go in for horseback riding, it's a HOBBY but not a sport. And I think the comparison with swimming is not fair at all. Still would be compared with equestrian sports.
I hobby horse, it’s very intense and it takes years to master. Though it isn’t like swimming, it’s a way to get outside and run around. There is other aspects of the sport besides showing, you can make the horses and tack as well! ❤

I don’t mind this too much but what annoys me is that is say “in this the rider does l the work” we do the work in actual horse riding!!!!!
What's the problem? She didn't say that in real horse riding a horse does ALL the work and rider just sits there. But the fact is that a real horse does most of the physical part of jumping and rider helps the horse to complete the course. They do it together and the girl in the video never denied that. In this hobby I bet the toy horse doesn't do any of the physical part (just complicates to keep the balance). So, I don't understand why you got so triggered.
