    Years ago I used to enjoy drinking coffee with sugar crystals in instead of ordinary sugar. The rate at which it dissolves means the coffee gets sweeter as you drink it and I really like that. I haven't been able to find sugar crystals in years but I recently found packets of rock sugar in my local asian store and wondered if it was the same sort of thing. I found your video very entertaining and informative and happy to now know I can buy my sugar crystals for my coffee again!

    In India it is known as Mishri 😋 We also use it in home remedies and in Prasad (food offered to the gods).

      Oh that's cool! I don't think we do that in Taiwan, offer rock sugar to god, I wonder what's the story behind that?

    Can you show us how to make this sugar?

    • @ericayeahtw
      @ericayeahtw  Před měsícem

      Yes~ In the future I'll make a #short on how to make crystalize sugar popstical, it's more of a treat then ingredients, it's actually pretty easy
      The cooking ones are easier to just get it from store or online, you can also replace it with same weight cane sugar in your recipe

      Awww, thanks for leaving a comment, I appreciates it! and perhaps we can do that in the summer, just a short will do really! it's not hard
      but in the meantime, there're many video online that teaches the way to DIY at home, just search "how to make cristle sugar at home" and you'll find them~ it'll turn out like a popsicle, super cool~
