My God that cable management under the desk, Kyle! What are you doing to us!

Huge fan of that fingerprint reader! Seems really cool. May pick this up when I move to my new space this fall.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing once I move this spring/summer.

I really like the stand and its functionality. I thought it was going to be stupid but it combines so many things into one it would probably clean up cables on your desk.

"isn't it great, isn't it sweet?" Me over here only able to focus on the cable mess under the desk that's driving me nuts.
Buy some PVC Pipe or use whatever else you want, could even use copper wire to manage your cables below the desk.
Cut PVC pipe into many small sections (2cm ish), cut along side and drill to underside of table. Super clean super cheap. Again you can use anything. Trays are too big, obtrusive and expensive
Why did you point It out
JayzTwoCents has entered the chat
He said he just threw it together. Also I'm not far enough in but 9 times out of 10 whatever they set up, doesn't stay set up
I learned one thing when redoing my setup for the third and final time. A super clean and minimalistic setup (for me) isn't always the nicest. I have more of a "cockpit" style" - PC, audio gear and monitors kind of hug me. Much more pleasant and comfy.
Also - you will always benefit from desk space. If you want to and can, invest in a cheap monitor arm (got mine for dual monitors for 25 euro). Massive space savings. Of course, if you're using monitors with super generic stands. If you have some with great adjustments (height, tilt, swivel etc) then probably not a good idea. Unless you invest into a more expensive arm.
I find mouse/deskpads a pain. If you like them, use them, but don't feel forced to buy one. They only dampen the sound of your keyboard and mouse (if you haven't figured out a way to dampen your keyboard) and can be useful for competitive fps gaming (mouse). I don't use one but if I were to get one for comp fps, I'd just get one for the mouse and take it out whenever I needed to. For casual gaming, I don't ever need to.
Oh, man! I literally just got rid of my monitor stand and mounted it to a desk mounted arm instead.
You can still get it for its other features. :P
"... I really focus on cable management for builds and my workspaces"
-kyle about .7 seconds after showing a ratnest of cables on his desk
I mean, they are managed. Out of sight is managed.
why should he cable manage as it will be pulled apart after video is done. man people are picky.

Oh my god! Thank you for showing this product! This is exactly what I always wanted but never know that I need it
Picked one of these up for the minimalistic standing desk work only setup I am putting together for my new place. Thanks for making this video! This thing has alot of stuff I can definitely use
Me: "That rgb looks soo cool, I should get the stand"
Also me: realizes that I don't have a monitor and use a book for a mousepad!
These docks seem real useful, I love the ports and bluetooth addition given how rare bluetooth actually is for desktop PCs.
However that price tho -- would really prefer an option that was a little more cut back. No wifi, no rgb maybe? Or those are probably the cheapest parts of the entire thing so it wouldn't cut the price enough to matter.
Thats actually really cool! This could make work at my desk a lot more comfortable and more enjoyable. Great Video! Thanks
This would be awesome. Very practical. Never thought people would run into the problem of putting their keyboard on the legs of the screen. So a stand like this would be convenient for desk space.

Wasn't there a ltt video about how cheap windows key's are most likely to be not legal.
does it matter
Yeah I would rather not buy it there, I am going to stick with my KMSpico
@@deepergodeeper7618 why pay money if it is still illegal.
@@lmaovertigo it might not be legal, but people have been doing it for years and the government hasn't tried to stop it, so it might be better to just save your money and get a cheap one instead of buying an official $140 one from microsoft. I have personally bought a couple from a website that sold the keys for $9 and they have all worked fine
They grey area. The keys themselves are legit and acquired legally (most the time). They arent supposed to be resold tho.
My desk came with it’s own monitor “shelf” built in and I love it. I can slide the keyboard back out of the way and it gives me more room where the monitor would be.
I might have to save up for this if I decide against getting monitor arms for my setup in the future. This seems like a really neat part of any build and it looks really nice too, which is always a plus!
I'm a firm believer in fingerprint readers. I'd love to have a desk with one built into a hidden spot.
That would be awesome.
ed would die by looking at that cable management

Looking forward to seeing more Kyle!
That is super cool!!! I am going to look into this!!!!
so early that one dislike came from Stefan of The Verge PC Build
He's not fighting static, he's fighting cancer.
Quick Question: How do I get that background that you had set on your computer?
Wallpaper Engine
Saw it and it reminded me of ori and the wotw a lil bit lol
It's from the indie pc game, Firewatch, and there is a wealth of wallpaper built off it. THANK ME LATER
oNe
it's from a game called among trees. you should find it if you google among trees wallpaper
I have a small desk an paperwork and things tend to end getting cluttered onto it, so I've always used monitor stands more as additional desk space - giving me a space to stash away the unsightly clutter that I need to have to hand but don't necessarily want to have in sight at all times, while still having the surface area looking as neat and tidy as possible. This product looks perfect because of the RGB mostly - though the fingerprint sensor and bluetooth may come in just as handy. I might pick one of these up for my test bench area for just this purpose, a place to shove the keyboard(s) out of the way when I need to build on the work surface / mod mat.
I love this! I would get this if I wasn’t going to mount my monitors but this is great especially since not all monitor stands have height adjustment
Built my first pc last night! Used your videos as reference so imma blame u if it blows up : )
It won't trust me
What are the specs
This honestly looks so cool, I have a smaller desk than usual and I need that space to move my peripherals to when I'm studying and using books and all that, so I'm for sure getting one of these soon
Edit: Plus I need a friggin wireless charger because my other chargers are messed up
I watched a video about a monitor stand. And I'm glad I did. Thanks for the video.
I just built my first PC not long ago and have been using it more often for work. This would definitely be a game changer/upgrade to my set up 😃
Me before reading description: Where did you get that little computer clock? It's quite and I kinda want one
Me after reading description: Now I am become Kyle
Is there a link to this clock or not ?
Ooo that acc looks rlly nice lmao, I'm 5 seconds in
That mini pan!
Very interesting features on the stand, especially the bt/wifi, fingerprint scanner, and wireless charging!
This thing looks amazing. I have been trying to think of something to replace my triple monitor mount to my desk right now because the monitors move around too much (Never buying a Hydraulic mount again). Wondering how this would look with a 27 in the middle and a 24 on either side (Probably on a triple monitor stand)
Is this a sponsored video with two additional sponsor spots?
My Hair Stood up when I saw all those Bright Colourful Lights!
I would like to see a version with built in monitor mount and perhaps a way to secure it to the desk but this product alone is a keeper, well done.
Nifty little stand and dock there. Nice to see that they offer 3 different variants as well. While this would not fit my current setup, I do appreciate the aesthetic that they were going for. Turn the RGB off for a more of an office/elegant feel, but then RBG party trick included.
I'd love one but I can see it costing a pretty penny.
Yeah too spendy IMO
I first read "This finally made me believe in monitor standars". I was bit confused what that meant.
As far back as the 90's I had stands and I even made several dozen custom acrylic stands as well from my work.
I'll be picking one up thanks to your review!

Hey! I used to have that monitor. The colors washed out about a year after buying it.
I like it. Been using something to elevate my monitor for years. Right now using an old DVD player. Looking for something different. This looks perfect.

Dual mount monitor arm clamped to the back edge of my desk for me. Gives me back even more desk real estate. Since I can have one of my monitors extend past the edge of the desk.
I appreciate you being yourself. Keep up the great work!
Way too many baked in ads, Kyle.
does it come in my favorite RGB style: off?
Imagine not wanting rgb everywhere 🤡🤡🤡
I hate RGB
Yes I have docking monitor stand. Mine is a $40USD Silverstone one, it has 4x USB 3.0 ports, audio & mic jacks & an option to power on/off my pc and I find it’s invaluable and allows me to run my rgb wall lights, wireless mouse 🐭 & keyboard from it and leave my 10Gbps USB 3.2 ports on my motherboard for file transfers and high bandwidth devices.
It looks gorgeous
Kyle, love you man, but a sponsored video with two extra baked in ads is taking the piss dude. Please find a better balance.

I love being able to sign in with fingerprint. The stand is nice cuz you get a bit more storage cuz you have a bit of a shelf
Thats really cool gonna get one
"Cool site I found"
It's a sponsored bit. Kyle, you're usually better than this.
I got a CSGOLotto flashback for a moment there... Besides all theses CDKey sites are probably the same damn people running them considering they're all so similar to each other.
I don't like what he's been doing with sponsor bits lately. They're too long, not honest, and there are more of them with one in the middle of the video (could put them towards the end). He also talked about the dock thingie like it's some kind of awesome innovative product, it's just a glorified USB hub with a fingerprint scanner, nothing more. "It's the compact version" wtf no, it's not even the same thing. Hope to see some changes
“Congrats to Everyone who is early and who found this comment💜
happy to see you doing well kyle!
It has wireless charging! Damn! I need that at work! Very nice demo! Thank you Kyle!!!
Seems nice. Might have got it if I haven't build one myself
I know people usually don't talk about sponsors in videos except to complain. But I will say thank you Kyle for the CD Key offers discount, recently went through upgrading the motherboards on a few computers and previously used Kinguin for all my keys. The keys were never bad, I just hated having to go through customer support and spouting digits at someone for 30 minutes.
Bought 2 windows 10 keys from CDK and they worked immediately, didn't have to call anyone up to get a verification code.
Thank you again!
And thats basically why i have a keyboard shelf under my desk, so my desk is sort of my monitor stand, and i hide cables under the desk + i can slide it in for little more floor space
That has some cool features... Never used a monitor stand before.
I love all the features of that one. I am currently using just a basic ALLSOP Metal Art Jr. 14" wide stands. I like those stands because it does raise up my monitors just enough to align them with my other system a 27"iMac. That being said after seeing these, I am considering an upgrade for all the features these have.
Dude this product it sickk , for sure will try to get one
Very cool. I have 2 different 27" monitors and one has height adjustment, the other doesn't so I use a monitor riser and this would be sweet!
Before I upgraded my monitor, I had one that wasn't adjustable so I made my own stand out of wood I had on hand, and it was kinda useful for tucking my keyboard out of the way. I always planned on staining it to make it prettier but never got around to it due to laziness.
After upgrading, my monitor is adjustable so I don't need the added height and the space under.wad just a place to lose stuff under. And I rarely need the added desk space from moving my keyboard.
look really good very clean
I think this one in particular is more functional and stylish than just a regular dock and stand. Windows Hello and the charger are a nice add-on to it
An interesting ‘case’ study for you to try, split into 3 questions:
1. How much/many 140mm based radiators (e.g. multiple mixes of 420mm and/or 560mm) would you need to be able to passively cool (WITHIN the same case as the components) a top of the range (eg RTX 3090 and AMD 9 5950X or a threadripper) fully water cooled system (at least GPU, CPU) at full over clock, to within 5 degrees of ambient temperature with the fans set to their absolute lowest possible speed, and not really needing to spin at all under normal load?
2. Which off the shelf cases (max spending limit of $1,000 for the case) can fit all those radiators at the same time?
3. If there are no cases which you can buy off the shelf which can fit those radiators at the same time within the system case, which case would you buy off the shelf as a starting point, and can you show us a step by step followable guide to how to mod the case so it CAN fit all those radiators? Try and keep the modifications to methods that people could DIY with only moderate access to power tools.
Can you demonstrate/show us such a system in action, and give us a rough idea of total cost for the case and total cooling system (e.g. presumably if there are loads of radiators, a more powerful pump would be needed)?
OMG I NEED THAT STAND!!!
Would work to save desk space with my work laptop and dock setup. I have that off to the side of my monitor current. I like it. Wonder if it it’s big enough for the LG 38” ultrawide stand
I like it. It's a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, definitely seems like a good get. Even though I plan to mount my monitors, I'd still be interested to have it as a kind of shelf, wireless charger and stowing my keyboard and mouse underneath it. Can even mount a cable holder underneath to house the usb for the wireless keyboard so it's all still visually clean.
actually gonna buy one! i need a wifi and bluetooth adapter since my motherboard doesnt support it plus my desk is tiny so having that extra room under my monitors is gonna be so good. best sponsered item out there that has been shown!
Yeah this is some dope tech love it
I have a glass one, that is basically just that. A stand. It does have USB 2, but I don’t currently have it connected, but I do have a USB 3 dock mounted to it. I’d definitely use a stand like this one. I don’t need the WiFi, but BT would be nice. The RGB looks good. The fingerprint reader for Hello is something I’d use as well.
If I wasnt using a monitor arm already, I'd maybe be into this product. It has a ton of features pack into it versus a normal one you can get on Amazon or the like.
I am honestly surprised you haven't gotten a custom mech keyboard yet. Once you get one you will never go back. But as for monitor stands I bought one of those desk clamp monitor arm things and I love it. I have a dual monitor one and its perfect. I have so much more room now. I also went from that exact same keyboard (well a k55 but same size) to a tkl keyboard and that cleared up so much space its crazy. Yes I do some what miss the number pad but you get used to not having one pretty quick. Surprisingly it wasn't the numbers but the right hand enter key I miss most.
This is a Cadillac compared to my monitor stand. I made mine from a shelf I got at Lowes and some hairpin legs I got off amazon. I also double side taped a USB hub to the side of it so it's super fancy. You can see ALL the wires so you know they aren't up to anything.
Never felt like having a pc stand before, but definitely considering it now.
I’ve used a riser platform from ikea parts for my iMac in an audio studio for years similar concept without the electronics they really do create space and hide cables in a sleek way I’d probably get this if I were building a new setup.
Looks great.
want to say thank you for what you do awesome videos and info best i have ever found someday i hope to build a monster rig to game on
