Only issue I have with this, unless I am confused, is it does not have some sort of non WiFi connection and a battery backup. The battery backup is easily fixed, but the cellular option is more tricky. Any half way smart intruder will simply cut your power first...at least those that will be a real threat.
If the system goes offline you will get an instant notification. The same happens when it goes back Online. Intruders rarely turn the power off, you rarely hear that happen (only in movies). Not saying it isn't possible, but most burglars just want to go in and out without possibly tripping an alarm.
***** Ya, but sadly insurance will only replace the monetary value on some of the things I am concerned with...and that's not enough. However, insurance and wild security overreach sure helps. =) Keep the product reviews coming. I think I bought 50% of the ones you posted today. And this system still isn't crossed off the list.
We have had our system for about a year and love it we have added to it and Spot even saved our mom’s life. She is seriously ill and before her condition had worsened she was alone. Spot allowed me to check on her see she had crashed and was able to call for help. These CZcams information have been great and simple to forward and straight to the point.. keep up the work

Security systems truly protect our lives. I have been using the Kangaroo system for a year now. And during this time there was an unpleasant situation - when I went to work, they tried to rob me. How good that the notification came to my phone and I immediately dialed 911. The thieves were caught, and I loved the security system even more.
Shared and liked. I really like how simple the user interface is. It's really simple to show family members that aren't tech savvy how to use. If I won I would like the Home Security System. Awesome video. Keep them coming.
Was really excited after seeing tonnes of video especially this one so I purchased the iSmart home security system from Amazon. I got the package and soon realised setting up was not that straight forward. The cube one would not stop beeping and it was impossible to pick up any of the attached devices. I followed all the instructions for troubleshooting even swiching off and on my router as suggested. Guess what, it still kept beeping and did not pick any device. I had to call iSmart support only to be told its a factory defective product and to return it. Great stuff eh.

Great review on the system. The home security system is a no brainer! Although you don't have the benefit of law enforcement being notified, this may still be able to deter anyone wanting to bring harm to your family. This system coupled with a Glock 19 gets a thumbs up my in book.

I use wireless sensors from Kangaroo, on their website you can fully familiarize yourself with the whole range of services, as well as on the website you can see the prices, functionality and the possibility of ordering. In terms of work, they completely suit me.
