it is always YOU yourself can tell the feelings of being in Hajj or Umrah. if you are a non-muslim, convert to Islam, and make your first journey there, and may Allah grant you Hidayah and takes you to the truth and may you will be rewarded with Heaven, inshaAllah.
we are always close to Him but there we will feel something that can't be explained. it is like closest of close, and calmest of all calm.. it's the land of haram (prohibition). there is no boundaries between Him and you, everything is transparent between both.. ask Him whatever you need, mostly it will be granted immediately. as I said earlier, it is a spiritual journey. it is where you will find your TRUE self. it's hard to describe, because every1 will feel different things.
