- DIY Outdoor Chandelier | Under $20
Bunnings recently sent me all of the equipment to make this super simple outdoor chandelier to celebrate their DIY July campaign and wanted to share the process of making it with you all. I was SO surprised how easy it was to make and how cool it turned out. I still can't decide if I will be using it inside or out or maybe both LOL.
This project will cost you around $20 depending on how much of the equipment you already own. Of course you don't need to use cable ties - instead you could use twine to join the baskets together and the same applies for hanging your chandelier - simply use twine instead of the para cord I was sent. You can also buy solar fairy lights if you don't have access to power outside. Bunnings sell these for around $12 and the baskets are $8. So it's a really cheap but effective project.
Anyway, I'd love to hear what you think of this cute little DIY project and please let me know in the comments below if you'd like me to continue making simple DIYs to share with you.
Thanks for watching.
Leonie

I used my excess basket chains to make a hanging bird bath.
Nice!
That’s a great idea. What did you use for the bath?
@@Thestyleinsider. I actually had an old ceramic bowl that I used. It had 3 holes were I could hook the chains. But if you have the 2 sets of chains you could somehow tie it securely all the was under? Or another option us to get a sturdy plastic bowl or pot plant tray and just drill holes to hook the chains at the tops or use a soldering iron to melt holes in the tops of the rims. I've used a soldering iron many times to melt holes into plastic items.
Stunning! I'm going to do this thanks Leonie 😊
Have fun!
Nice !
Thanks for watching ;)
More of the same please Leonie; good job!
