Usually Koreans in other leagues, once they adapt to the environment, they just blend in. Yes, they help the team become competitive in internationals but they usually don't stand out. NA teams are a good example. However, in the LEC, Koreans usually don't get a good resume. But this Academy bot from DK is actually just too insane what the heck. It's one of the rare times where a Korean doesn't blend and remains a Korean player with a Korean skillset in another leagye

I dont think they will drop aiming anytime soon so , maybe that's why rahel decide to dont waste time .
Aiming was available in the offseason so it was pretty obvious they would pick him up. Also Rahel's contract was ending this year so this was the best decision that DK could do imo

Rahel I was fairly sure would be good regardless in which region he moved up to from the Challenger League, when he was on the DWK academy team he was popping off pretty consistently, pretty sure he was pretty consistently getting MVP in their matches along with both Lucid and Thanatos who are now all playing in a major league. Luon I wasn't sure about, didn't see much about him prior, but so far he's actually been very solid. I still think there are a few holes which need to be fixed in this team, and we need to see how long term the team plays, but if SK had any shot of going to worlds, of all the teams they've had in the LEC since coming back this is probably their best shot at it. Still think they probably won't crack top 3 by playoffs, but if there was ever a time to it would be now.
I want SK to qualify rather than that horrendous dardo absolute garbage team.

corki and skarner is AD damage so you want magic damage and maokai also has lot of cc, so enemy would want to build merc treads, so corki and skarner can do more damage. also corki want cc and peel in general.
Jinx and Runble are imobile champs, so having 3 cc instants from Maokai is really good, plus the damage type contrast between top mid and jungle. And Maokai is a great blind pick in this scenario

They were both in lck cl final last year summer. The thing about lck teams is that they really like their veteran players. You can win lck cl and never even get a chance to play on lck stage even if the main team members are underperforming.
Honestly, Rahel couldn't get a chance because he had to take the spot from Ghost, Deokdam, Deft, and Aiming.
