  • This video shows two of three available talking radio controlled keychain clocks. All have 12/24 hour time format, and all have 5 alarms. All are Radio controlled for the USA and the UK. They differ in slight, but important ways. The video will explain more. :)

    The way to get this to update: take a length of wire.. doesn't matter what kind, inside telephone wire, speaker wire, ethernet wire, even an unused extension cord. Wrap one end around the body of the watch 10-20 times, and string the rest up like a long wire antenna. Your improvised long wire antenna will catch more of the signal , create a standing wave inside it, and the coil end will induce a stronger radio signal into the tiny interal antenna in the watch.
    If you want to make a permanent signal booster, cut a piece of cardboard into a square, coil up one end of your wire (thin is easiest to work with, like from old inside house telephone wire), coil one end into a circle a few inches in diameter, tape your circle down to the cardboard in a circle, and then set it on your shelf or nightstand where youw ant to park your atomic time sync watches at night. String the rest of the wire up as your long wire antenna. Then just part your watches on the cardboard square signal boosting watch parking pad..

    I thank you for this video. It's really helped me! I bought the 5 Senses watch last April and I love it. My only problem is that I can't get the watch to update automatically. Don't I just have to put it face down on a windowsill for the night, or am I missing something?

    • @rml695
      @rml695  Před 9 měsíci

      That is correct, just putting it face down in the windowsill overnight should update it. You might also want to double check the time zone.

      @@rml695 Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it's just not updating. I had it on the windowsill last night, even. I have another question...is it possible to manually change the date? It thinks it's the day before. I haven't seen anything in the manual about changing the date manually.

    I appreciate your detailed explanations. Thanks for overview if all functions. I would also like to know how to set/adjust the Time - You jumped right to setting the alarm. And holding down various buttons is not helping me set the Time, or my device is not responding right.

    • @rml695
      @rml695  Před 5 lety

      Kathryn Thompson The clocks should set themselves. If they do not, you can reset the time zone. Press and release the “zone” button at the 2 o clock position next to the battery door. The clock will respond with your current time zone. Press zone until you get to your time zone. It will confirm after 1 second. If that doesn’t work, press and release Hour to enter Hour setting, or Minute to enter Minute setting. The clock will either say something like “12 o’clock a.m:” for hour or “zero minute” for minute. To adjust the actual value (hours or minutes), press the time announcement button below the display. Once you reach your desired hour or minute value, press Hour or Minute to exit.

      So the cube clock is sitting next to my iMac, and the white key chain is on top of my external optical drive. The cube clock is five minutes fast, and I didn’t set up that way it just ended up that way, where the white one being radio controlled is more accurate
