- Simone Biles isn’t holding back. Considered one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, the Olympian spoke with Alex Cooper for the April 17 episode of “Call Her Daddy” where she opened up about a range of personal subjects, including her childhood, how she suffered from the “twisties” during the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, and the backlash her husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens, received for his controversial comments on a podcast where he seemingly implied he was the “catch” in their relationship and didn’t know who the iconic athlete was when they first started dating. “I thought it was hilarious at first and then they hurt my feelings,” Simone shared, adding, “One night I broke down and I’m like, ‘Why are you guys talking about my husband like this?’”

@@j.ordan23 Fvck no. I mean if you wanna go there, we can break it down. From a looks perspective, the guy is tall, obviously muscular to some degree, he's good looking, successful etc..... The guy's a Chad. Simone on the other hand, if we're being honest, is not the prototypical woman that most men are attracted to. She's extremely short, all muscle, chest is almost non existent, waist to hip ratio is almost parallel, we see it during her performance. But she has a cute smile. Now, if you wanna say she's more successful well, most if not all men would rather have a Meagan Fox, or Gal Gadot in there arms instead of Oprah. Let that sink in!
Right now she's still in awe over his handsome face, they both will settle in and either grow and mature or not. We all have to go through the journey, only time will tell what he's about for her and himself. No judgment either way.

Simone even if this summer something happens, we love you the exact same, everyone wants to watch you and the way you make people feel when you compete, even with a mistake, is special. No pressure at all, do I want your dreams to come true this summer at the games, YES! But I am enjoying it all.
Simone, you are brilliant, but people are allowed to form an opinion on your husband based on what he said. The fact he never corrected it and you've attacked other for forming such opinions makes it worse.
No one has a right to go, blindly, after a 'celebrities' family. However, they have a right to form an opinion on a celebrities family based on how they act and what they say. This is one of those situations.

You are totally wrong! He need not correct anything. People do not listen. Some idiot started the mess and others jumped on the bandwagon and started, to form their own opinion. I remembered when both told their stories about how their relationship started their relationship over and over without a beat. He was asked the same question when they first, got engaged on the morning show. Hoda Kolb and her crew had the same questions, for they and they said the same thing, so what the hell did he say wrong. That is their love story. he did not know who she was. he spent most, of his time outside crafting his sport, and was not sitting on his couch watching TV. If he said he did not know she was, what was wrong with it? I love the way how she put everyone in their place. I have been following their relationship for a while, and Jonathan is the kindest person, you could think of. I am happy she went after him, and he married her because her last relationship was a disaster. He said bad things about her and cheated on her. Jonathan will never do this to her, so please leave them alone.

He was being honest. If he really didn’t know who she was, it makes sense that he (as a young, healthy, competitive athlete) would see himself as “the prize” or “the gift”. There’s no winning with the public. You’re guaranteed to upset SOMEONE, no matter what you do or don’t do; say or don’t say, etc.! Fame is not a healthy state to exist in. I sincerely wish them well.
LOL. He's an athlete. That doesn't make him a catch. I've dated professional athletes and most of them are not intelligent and their conversational skills and personality are low. It's not attractive at all. Being cute and having money doesn't make you a catch. There is more to a person than that.
