The Sphere just recently opened on September 29, 2023. This is a MUST SEE experience and show when you come visiting Las Vegas!
We Truly enjoyed everything about our experience there! Everything from the Outside visual spectacular, to the A.I. Robots, and the ONE OF A KIND movie that is Hollywood Quality that is shown inside the Sphere! It was a one of a kind type show and we will do it again, the next time we are in Las Vegas! The $2.3 billion dollar Las Vegas entertainment venue, Sphere, kicked off its opening weekend with a series of concerts from the band U2 on 9-29-23.
Construction was underway in 2019, with the opening initially scheduled for 2021. Construction was suspended for several months in 2020, due to supply disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Sphere opened on September 29, 2023, with Irish rock band U2 beginning a 25-show residency called U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere. Oscar nominated director, producer Darren Aronofsky's docu-film "Postcard from Earth", opened on October 6,2023.
The MSG Sphere located at the Venetian Resort is a 18,600-seat music and entertainment arena has gone viral for its unique exterior which features 580,000 square feet of LED displays.

What is the MSG Sphere:
It is the largest spherical building in the world at 875,000 sq ft (81,300 m2). It includes seating for 18,600 people, and all seats have high speed internet access. Haptic technology is incorporated into 10,000 of the venue's seats.
Inside, the concert space is equipped with a 16K resolution wraparound LED screen that spans 15,000 m2, making it the largest high-resolution screen in the world. The outer shell is illuminated by 54,000 m2 of LED displays, which can be seen from multiple vantage points across Las Vegas.
