Isiphetho follows the destitute aftermath of the Covid Pandemic and dramatic , violent scenes of unrest unfolding in KZN and Gauteng. Isiphetho is a tale of desperation, belief, superstition, crossroad decisions and the daunting journey it takes to overcome.

Ngisadlale u 7 Minutes wale video. Ngicela ukubongela uMaMthembu, she understood her role and she knew how to give us a woman of the house. Brother 'Ma Airtime', I love your character brother. Though you seem afraid to touch MaMthembu on the face. Ok the ending is not really bringing suspense, I mean we don't know what happened in the house and there is no sense of part 2 at the end. But am happy team. You did very well here.

This was good for me.
For me, this was artistic and creative.
But...the story line wasn't new or fresh, and was predictable. So they took an old story and did a good job with it.
In general, I don't like films that 'tell' the whole story through dialog, rather, I like films that 'show' the story. I generally like films
with little or no dialog. But I enjoyed the grit.
Acting was good, audio was good, pace was good.
Interesting contrast between him going to a spiritualist, and her praying to God.
I liked that it wasn't hyperbolic or over dramatic, the characters were realistic to me - not a bunch of Hollywood caricatures.
Good emotional take away for me....it was emotionally flat for me until the very end, which was predictable, but her acting, expression on her face,
hit home for me...seemed to be a mix of resignation, sadness and not knowing.
So the suspense was not there for me, and the buildup to danger was a bit weak for me since it was playing out that the job was a slam
dunk (inside man helping them out). So I wasn't saying to myself "don't do it! don't do it!"...plus he had the good spirits with him, on his side.

Don't why it took me this long to watch it but I'm glad I did, and as always Mel and the team never miss. The plot was definitely on par, wish there could have been more to it ngoba u15min just wasn't enough.😭😭😭 All in all tho this was an amazing production.🙌💯
