Wow Jazz, I am not a candy maker and this was so easy. The caramel is dry to the touch and dipped easily, didn't drip off the apples. Next time I will double so I can use the whole can of sweetened condensed milk. I also dipped half of a dried apple ring and let them cool on parchment. Great, easy recipe. Thank you.

Hi, following your recipe, I don't know if I discovered a hack for the Caramel by accident.
I just boil sugar butter and corn syrup till it reached 245. No need to stir since it's butter n sugar, won't stick to pan. For it to reached 245 on high, took no more than 6 minutes. So now I microwave condense milk so it does not bring your sugar temp down as you added. I added the condense milk, brought to 245 again in les that 5 minutes. So caramel can take less than 11 minutes if I had been microwaving milk at the same time the sugar , butter and corn syrup was boiling. Let me know if it worked out. If not, I have hocus pocus hands because it came out just like yours. I am still in shock😲

So normally what you need to do is boil the water and dip them to get the wax off the wax is what makes everything slip off 😘

I made that recipe. But they had the butter, brown sugar and syrup soft boil first. Then add condensed milk. I’m learning. One mistake at a time.

Great video but why not just drop all apples in a big pot of boiling water at the same time then scramble to get them all out in about ten seconds like a maniac? I’m kidding!
