@@nxvh9062 Agreed. 150 is stupid. My NG+5 FTH/STR char (pre dlc) is level 360 and my my NG+2 DEX/ARC char (that I started dlc with on NG+2) is level 240 and counting. Probably 250 by the time I am on NG+3. I have multiple characters that are around level 150 but I am not even done with NG on them. 150 is too low, it should be minimum 250.
Edit: You can use alberiches set if you want, i didnt because i also included a weapon 9:30 alberiches set only provides a buff for the spell and only on the head chest and hands, no buff from his pants. so you would only want to use the chest or hands here. i just prefer rakshasa for an overall damage buff and better armor stats but yeah use whatever you want lol
but doesnt rakshasas set make the armor stats pretty useless because of the more damage debuff? at least if its a boss that cant be killed in a few seconds through this
I'm confident that this will be safe the only reason perfume got nerfed is cuz the glitch where you aim it at the ground. Impenetrable thorns is powerful but only when player use all the right talismans and stats and armor to make it so. Nothing with the spells itself
Glad to see the Blacksteel Twinblade getting love, not enough people talk about it which is a damn shame. It reminds me of pre-nerf Backhand Blades, those guys could also insta-bleed with their running R2's while being faster. But the Twinblade is a welcome replacement.
I tried farming those two Black Knights north of the High Road Cross S.O.G., but I don't think they drop the twinblade. I got a bunch of armor pieces if anyone wants a set, or 50.
I really hope they don't nerf this one. This works so well in NG+7 with buff stacking. I was literally ready to quit playing until this, so thanks. I'll be pissed if they nerf us again. The PvE is tough enough at NG+7.

It’s all good info, but you made a point to say it wasn’t about buff stacking so I was intrigued to just see a straight forward consistent dmg setup. Then between the consumables, buffs, and flask it felt like a bunch of different things that had to happen before actually playing the game.
I’m so glad I beat the final boss pre-patch with rolling sparks. Because I was not beating him. He was too ridiculous. I may not have beat grayle or anything. But I’m not going back. Especially since I already seen spoilers and the fights. And I explored and got every map location so I’m good.

And she also released it at more or less the same time :P I did try your version of the older build, and just ran around killing mobs mostly with it (I can't find any more bosses, and I havent even beaten the game..big L) and I was kinda underwhelmed, but it obviously is WAY more potent against bosses or bigger enemies as shown on your videos and waifu video. Unsure if I have another respec in me xD but maybe :P Didn't get to try the rolling spark lightning bottle at all before the nerf, so using something utterly broken before its nerfed would be fun!

Jellyfish Shield buff in left hand I find is about equal or better than having the thorn staff in the left hand. It increases all damage by 20% for 30 seconds. I never do seppuku or sacred bloody flesh. I only use white mask, the blood talisman, spell talisman, golden vow, and jellyfish shield buff.
You’re the best elden ring build maker who actually brings things together to get the most out of them. And they work on NG+ unlike some peoples builds where they pump them out daily and they’re all incredible mid cough cough

used a slightly different version of this on the final boss yesterday, stats were different so I could still use the black knight shield and elden beasts sword because it's aow does a lot of damage to him in the first phase, ca. 3-5K per hit. The boss was still the hardest I've ever fought, impossible without a shield, took me 5 hours trying anything out and then another 3 to finally kill him with the thorns and the sword. so thanks. Im never gonna fight him again lmao. its like he's on NG+7 even though I had all 50 scadu fragments and the highest possible resistances, still one or two shot me. Before the update he felt much easier for some reason, almost had him on my 3rd attempt, did they nerf everything else but buff him or was he somehow bugged for me ...?

Tried a few tips for fighting radhan, none worked for me, never got him below 50%. Impenetrable thorns with a few magic and blood buffs, and he melted.
Don't have seppuku yet,.. amazingly 🤦 but still works just fine on ng4. After beating it with the blood fiend arm the first time,.. because i missed this thorn spell,.. my mage had to get revenge. 😎
It's interesting that this spell seems to deal magic damage since regular magic seems to do jack diddly squat to most of the bosses. Maybe the damage output is just THAT high?

Honestly, I disregard anything that has more than a 3-4 buff setup. The most I'm doing is golden vow, physick and boiled crab. I dont even do terra magicka anymore but I understand that and flame grant me strength (I hate short lasting buffs anyway). I aint got time for all that nomo and it's not practical. I try to keep it to like 5 seconds of buffing. All that to say, good job keeping the buffs to a minimum.
You're level 713. Just use what you want. You'll deal a lot of damage regardless. The best staff at 80/80+ INT/FTH is the Prince of Death's staff, as far as I'm aware. Last I checked, it gets up to 430+ spell buff. In terms of spells, Night Comet is a top pick. Enemies won't dodge it, and it deals great damage. Another good pick is Magic Glintblade, a very spamable spell, and since it is delayed, enemies will dodge when you cast it and still get hit by the spell. As for other spells I'd say the finger sorceries might be worth looking into, I hear they're good. And if you do use them (I'm not totally sure) but the Maternal staff he uses in the video might be better than the PoD's staff as it boosts finger sorceries, but you'd have to test it. Night Maiden's mist is always fun. Oh, I almost forgot! Carian Slicer is one of the best sorceries for CQC, always nice to have that. Gavel of Haima is good too. Anyway, this has gotten long enough but as you can see there are PLENTY of great sorceries. Just pick your favorites and be on your way.
Yeah when I start DLC I used my mage build with dual staff of loss night comet and some enemies were more tank like small enemies took 2 shots to die instead of 1 like I was used too 😂

Seems like madness is only really utilized in PvP. 90 percent of bosses in PvE aren’t affected by madness

For Radahn fight, highly recommend adding ironjar aromatic to the mix. Makes spamming attacks much easier, especially in the second phase

How does this compare to dropping INT and just going FAITH and using Staff of the Guilty?
The hardest part of this is for sure farming that sacred flesh. Any good spots better than the fissure?

PoD staff is best at max lvl with night comet but honestly at max lvl u can make anything work
