Yessir. I actually had to wait a few days for it to be back in stock, but it didn't take long to ship. I got this one from Charged Cycle Works, they carry the the 2023 40ah so I had to get that lol.

$4500 for 40ah battery and each colorway as well. I think the 38ah one at luna is a little bit more lol.

@Randumbly Great video as usual! She's a beaut! I've been testing a "Smays Gooseneck Plug-in Microphone" which plugs directly into the back of the GoPro Media Mod that's mounted to a "Dango Design Gripper Mount" and seems to work for easy routing under the lip of the helmet. I mounted the mic to the Gripper Mount using Scotch-Mount™ Extreme Double-Sided Mounting Tape (kept the red film on the top side as to not pick up dirt/debree) and so far so good. The only issue i've noticed with this mic setup is the audio is mono, so in your audio editing you can just duplicate the channel to the other side. Hope that helps.
Ay I'll have to check that out. Idk if I wanna go lavalier or "wireless mic". My reason for wanting a mic so bad is the Surron is loud in my footage and I have to sometimes lower the audio in post on different parts of the vid. No gain level control on these damn GoPros lol But yea I've been dirty-ing this bike up pretty bad lol straight trails and tracks now. Gonna give it the a first wash this weekend lol.

Wassup bro! Loved the video, I'm tryin to save up enough for either the surron X or the Sting R and I think I'll end up getting the sting r just because it has more power out of the box, but is there anything you would recommend? Keep up the awesome videos btw love the editing style
Yea that's mostly what I'd suggest for someone that doesn't have, or hasn't had one of these bikes yet, is to go for the Sting R. Unless there's a certain specific reason why someone would want the Surron. I had the MX4 and loved every minute of it, but ultimately I've always wanted a Surron for so long, so I went with a Surron lol. The MX4 in Sport Mode is⚡⚡. Thank you, I appreciate you watching 🤙🏾.
I spent a month checking out each one. I bought a Talaria Sting R MX4. More power and direct drive gearbox. No drive belt!

It's confusing af but I've been wanting a Surron for the longest time, then once I got one the R came out and I was hooked lol so I sold my first 38ah Surron and got the Sting R, and made vids, but after riding the R for like 2 months I just wanted to get the Surron again since that was the bike I was invested in for so long. I just wanted the bike I was literally watching vids on everyday and hyped to get 😂😂. As for the XXX, I just gave myself a few days to see if I could snag one and I did. My plan was to check it out and see how I like it, and if I wasn't feelin it then I would just sell it and get the Surron. I'm glad I got the Surron. All these bikes are way dope, but there's things about the Surron I personally prefer, plus the Surron just has that special place because how long I was trying to get one..... Hope that makes sense LOL 😂.

Haha dude I'm super camera shy lol I was gonna have to do it eventually. Honestly, I never had any plans on doing any power upgrades like battery, controller, or motor. Maybe new tires, new bars, and a headlight switch lolll.

What ultimately made you get the surron, It seems like you door more normal street riding exploring, staying on two wheels so wouldnt you like to have the more range/speed?
I am assuming a few things but I've watched a few of your riding vids and I just dont see where you think you benefit from a surron more than the talaria r
Ay I appreciate the comment truly. Yea when I had the R I was definitely riding more street. But lately I been actually riding off-road mainly, hitting trails, tracks and little jumps loll. That's for sure one of the many reasons why. I do miss the range on the R, but for what I do, the surron is more than legit. Out of the two, I just like the way the surron feels when riding both on and off-road, especially off-road. I mean I'm super happy with it and so far have been having the best times hitting these trails. I been missing out for sure loll. 🤙🏾
@@Randumbly That’s awesome you find what you like better, i havnt ridden both yet but I’m very happy with my sting r, i ride a lot of trails and jumps and on road i do it all and everything feels pretty solid to me coming from dirt bikes, i’ll get to ride my buddies surron here soon so maybe my mind will be changed but who knows, i think the biggest difference for me would be weight of the bike, also i’m heavier so suspension plays a big role too which i think the talaria might do better for stiffer suspension

Is the seat more comortable than a xxx or mx4?
That's actually a good question because for me the MX4 had the widest seat, but it wasn't as "cushiony" lol. The xxx had the most narrow seat, but was the most squishy. And the surron feels soft enough and wide enough that I wouldn't really need to upgrade the seat if all that makes sense lol. That's just my opinion.

I'm 6'0 200lbs....At first I always thought a Surron would be too small but it's not imo. It's a great size both when I'm riding and proportion wise. 🤙🏾

Pretty much yea. The MX4 has different forks though so the pinch bolts and axle may be different, but same steps.

Charged Cycle Works sell the 2023 40ah version. They have 4 different colorways.

Naw you gotta check to make sure it's the 40ah version. I got mine from Charged Cycle Works, but you may have to put in a special order because I don't think they ship anymore. I read that some distributors were selling older versions as the "most recent" 2023 version lol, not sure if that's true or not, that's just what I read.
