    From ATC to flying private in the 70s to 80s its great to see someone had the ability to make this happen!

    Another great video, Sam. You seem to have a natural aptitude for aviation. I think you would make a great commercial airline pilot. Emirates is smart by taking Cadets with no prior experience. This way you are trained to fly the Emirates way with no misconceptions. What a great opportunity for a young person who wants to become a commercial airline pilot. The United States has nothing comparable to the Emirates flight school.

I for one have been at a similar "big name" integrated training organization who continuously advertised about how good/new their facilities are, but underneath all of that was an environment that did not focus on the cadet despite their large investment, but rather how much money the organization could potentially make from you.

    • @iceman_7
      @iceman_7 Před 2 lety +11

      Because as fantastic as this is, it’s extremely expensive compared to your average flight school + well above the minimum requirements, which most people can afford. However that being said, there is absolutely not compromise in quality of training and education, as I’ve personally been through it myself. United Aviate academy for one has phenomenal training, which is where my airline outsources their cadets to train (it was formerly known as Westwind School of Aeronautics).
      Emirates is absolutely world class, but also a far cry in terms of money for 80% of aspiring pilots!

      @sultanalshamsi7629 Před 2 lety

      @@vinithradhakrishnan8969 can confirm that its 90 weeks, and let me explain why. The cadet program at EFTA was first meant to serve Emirati students to join emirates airlines and to create better opportunities for Emirati youth, so the 90 days of ground school also includes 777 ground training and other aircrafts that emirates has. and since they need a lot of pilots from the region to employ the Emiratis they have to fast track the flight training which is why you only need 250 hours to be transferred to a co-pilot position at emirates (if you're Emirati)
