I'm a huge fan of sonic, and believe me or not, i beat 73 sonic games, sonic forces was good, but could've been better if the level design was better.
I now this is two years after this comment was made but I’d like to say that forces is arguably a good game. Many say it’s wasted a opportunity but I think personally it’s got a whole lot of potential to get better. I hope they do end having Infinite come back.

There was this series I've seen on CZcams called Let's Save Infinite where someone wrote a sequel for Sonic Forces, where the custom hero is the main character and it turns out there's a backstory between them and Infinite. I really recommend checking it out if you want to see some nice hypothetical development for him!
