Tell me more! I had the camera but sold it two years ago. Compared to Sony a6000 which I still kept (had both at the same time): 1. QX1 has a noisy sensor especially iso 800 2. It's video capability was poor...some weird color noise especially during low light. 3. Apart from the wow factor, everything else is better on a6000. I can operate A6000 with my phone too.
Bad user experience, mainly viewfinder lag, which can either be blamed either on Sony's app, or phone hardware at the time (2014) The 2nd problem was that it launched at $400 without lens, while Sony's equivalent proper camera, Sony a5000 cost $450 with lens included, most people just did not understand who this camera was for.
The Sony QX 1 would be a really good camera for high quality hidden cameras in reality TV shows as in that case it would be externally recording to another device while it could also work really well as a high quality drone mounted camera! :)
i like the pentax q7,it could be the best camera for traveling, tiny but with nice looking body and removable lenses, that outperforms most of the modern smartphone camera.
Closest equivalent today would be the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera, although that is video focused and lacks the smartphone integration.
