I actually love Alexia. She is probably the most "real" character. She suddenly found herself in a world surrounded by a bunch of monsters fighting an underground war. Rather than ignoring it or getting swallowed up she tried to improve herself and do what she could with what resources she has to figure out what is going on. Also, I like her reaction to Shadow Garden a lot more than Iris. She doesn't blindly hate them and seems to want to understand them.

Just based on anime only, Alexia grows from being kind of a brat to someone with a purpose, someone with drive to improve and actually understand what's going on with the world, meanwhile Iris devolves from a pillar of strength into a tantrum throwing ragestorm with severe tunnel vision.
I also don't get it ... I'm normally the guy who hates the Tsundere while everyone loves her, but that's not the case here. (Side note: while I don't hate her ... she has nothing on Aurora, Alpha and Zeta)

I'll be honest, Alexis kinda reminds of Noelle Silva from Black Clover. They are both considered or have average power and weak compare to her sibling(s) at the beginning but grown rather strong over the course of the series. They are both compassionate towards the common folk. And the fact, they share the same character design & similar color of hair & hairstyle. Although while Alexia is a Tsundere (with a hint of Yandere) while Noelle is more of a stereotypical semi-violent Tsundere, although she is somewhat romantically maturing over the course of the series for her MC love interest.

Alexia is the Hero to Cid's Eminence in Shadow, Claire I am unsure long term what 'role' she has but I imagine after 5 with Alexia accepting Iris is lost for now Claire and her may continue cooperating, I would also imagine Alexia will at some point travel to Oriana to confront Rose now that she would feel helpless in Midgar with her sister and father ignoring her. From that reunion I can only speculate that Alexia 'and mabye claire?' could actually end up working with the Garden to an extent since Oriana is being actively fought over in the shadows. Though Claire is a big if since Cid would need to be involved somehow - but then again ANY time Alexia ends up in trouble Cid as Shadow finds himself right in place to intervene, and show off his swordsmanship that yes I could see Alexia using to clue in on the Cid / Shadow since Cid and Shadow are the only two other than her practicing 'mediocre' swordsmanship.
When it comes to best girl, I would say it's Rose Oriana, and I mean that in a general way. As for who is the best girl for Cid, it's Alexia. The reason why I say that is because Alexia has a realistic view of people and relationships, and she doesn't judge them only on their good points, but also their negative points as well, and that is a very grown-up way to judge someone accurately. A lot of people view best girl for their own personal preferences of what they like in a Waifu, and fail to judge who is best for the MC since Cid is his own character and not a self-insert like so many other Isekai and Harem protagonists. If anyone has paid enough attention to how Cid is as a character, then you would know he is not a good person, and most likely doesn't deserve any of the girls considering that he has lied and manipulated them and has no romantic interest or even any interest in them that doesn't involve his Chuni delusional desires. The reason I believe Alexia is the best girl for Cid, is because she actually loves him, the real him, not the fabricated version all the other girls view him as. If all the other girls discovered he lied to them and he is a fraud, how do you think they would handle it? Not well at all to say the least. Those other girls only love the fabricated version of Cid, believing he only has good points and no negative points, which is the unrealistic way of viewing people and relationships that I mentioned earlier. Since Alexia already knows Cid's bad points, she accepts him anyway. I guess you really can't choose who you fall in love with after all, am I right? Alexia having a good head on her shoulders and being impervious to Cid's lies and manipulation and being strong willed to not let him get away with anything, would actually make her the perfect girl for him for his own good, as well as the whole world. She can keep him in line to keep him from going full psycho and creating collateral damage, and we know that she is capable of keeping him on a leash, get it? Woof, Woof (lol). Also, she might be able to show him the benefits of a loving relationship and that there's more to life that he can enjoy that doesn't involve being a Shadow Broker. There's more to say, but that would be a full page at least, so I'll leave it at that.

While I don't consider her "best girl material," I do consider Alexia a good example of how to write a good Tsundere. For starters, have a good reason to be a tsundere other then checking a box. In alexia case she grew up in the den of vipers that is politics, with people sing her praises to her face, and insulting her behind fer back.
