We also got our first blessed reign 2 sundays ago. It was a really fun reign, despite the drama created by the champion paragon tree. Our dominance was twice that of this reign shown here. We are number one on the leaderboard, and our Immortal got the Eternal 20% badge. So that was nice too.
I liked that you showed a player with more reasonable reso who did so well. takes a lot more skill to play this well at this level. easy(er) to dominate when you pump a ton of money into something.

Is the shield from the mountebank set 100% effective? or 1/3 3. Is block also 100% effective? or 1/3 4. If these are all effective, could you provide a complete Immortal King gear recommendation?
Hey! I will try to answer your questions but please take this information with a grain of salt. I have never played as the Immortal myself so this information is based purely on the knowledge I gained from my clan/alliance, from my research of Immortal fights on other servers and from information available on youtube/reddit/discord. Also this information is always subject to change by Blizzard. They do tend to tweak these things without mentioning it in the patch notes 1. Gem effects don't work in this mode 2. Set item bonuses also don't work (they used to work in the past, but it was changed) 3. Not certain about this, but from what I can tell, block chance from every source is reduced to 1/3. The only exceptions are the base character 6% block and the block chance from protector warband rooms bonus/remnants 4. The most important seems to be to take Warden paragon tree and a good familiar companion pet. The focus should then be on the magic attributes on gear. Mainly defensive stats are most important. %Damage reduction from players, %Damage done to players and Movement speed% (these are most important as they don't seem to be reduced). Block chance & Maximum life is also OK but are both reduced. From what I saw Legendary essence/Build/Skills selected don't have any affect in this fight If anyone has any additional information please feel free to correct me!
How was the Rite of Exile that preceded the Imortal fight? I know that at the 7th week there will always be the Imortal fighting, but I am trying to compile some information around number of victories vs amount of kills needed by the immortal. Cause I saw another blessed reign where the Immortal had to kill 45 shadows, while on your side your immortal had to kill 60.
Just checked the recording I have of the 6th week. It was 85 shadow kills required. Dragon killed 51/85 shadows and won on time with 22% HP remaining. Hope this helps Interesting, I didn't realise that the amount of kills needed is different per week
@@Mao_DI yup, they're diff and I think that above that we also have a relation with the 8x8 fights and amount of kills required by the Immortal himself. The other blessed reign I saw, the Immortals had 9x1 against the Shadows at the 7th week (right before the Immortal fight) and he only had to kill 45 Shadows to earn the blessed reign
@@Mao_DI coming back to confirm, last night was my turn to defend our blessed reign, we had 9v1 on the rite of exile and I had to kill 40 shadows to earn the blessed reign, I have only 3.5K res and finished with 47% health
@@canaldobirulei congratulations! When you say 9x1 it means only 9 Shadow clans instead of 10? Why did this happen on your server? Low activity from shadows or something else?
@@Mao_DII meant that the Immortals had 9 victories at the Rite of Exile (trying to prove my theory that the more victories the less the Immortal needs to kill at the Immortal Challenge). The shadows had all 10 clans but only managed to win one fight. We had won the 3 Vigil of Blades, so that 12% on the immortals side helped a lot on the fights

@@Mao_DIhi again Mao, do you know if saved assembly rewards from past weeks will be deleted when my reign finish this sunday? I was collecting everything for monday but i am wondering if i should claim it now to not lose exp and keys :/
I noticed that too! Looking at his profile from today I can see both the rings he's using now have rank 7 yellow gems. My guess is that he didn't have any high rank blue or red gems to go in the sockets in the new rings he took. Seems he prioritised ideal magic attributes (damage reduction to players/damage done to players) over having slightly higher secondary stats

Yes exactly. 7 weeks is now the maximum any reign can last. If the Immortal defends in the fight vs shadows then it will count as a blessed reign but reign will still be overturned. Before it was possible to have reigns much longer than 7 weeks but since Blizzard added the Immortal rewards inclusing the cloak cosmetic which is achieved based of the number of blessed reigns your character is a part of. This change was made
