- This is our fun week of thrifting in the charity shops of Padova (Italy)!
We are hunting for high end brands, great quality clothes, vintage accessories, hats and belts, many silk scarves, vintage shirts and blazers, and of course vintage home decor!
We will show you the haul of the week, and at the end ot the video we will visit a wonderful market in the gardens of a venetian villa.

Dear Aurora, thanks to you and your vlogs, I started collecting silk scarfs from thrift stores in North America. To my shock, found an original Chanel and many other brands that are not that known here, but popular in Europe. Love all your scarfs that you bought, it is not in this video but I remember I was speechless was I saw your Christian Lacroix scarf. Hope you will find more like that!

Hello Aurora, I always enjoy watching the charity shops adventures you do with your mum. She's got a wicked sense of humour. I have only got 1 charity shop/warehouse near where i live and I never find any clothes there but it's good for furniture, books and haberdashery for my sewing. Thanks goodness for Vinted for everything else! My latest buy is a pair of vintage miu miu brogues, they were a very cheap steal because they were scratched on the toes. I've spent this last week sanding the scratches out , dyeing them . polishing and they've come up really nice.

Gabriella looks especially pretty today, the beige jacket with the pinks from her scarf really suite her skin tone. As usual, you look like the adorable fashionista you are. I love so many of the pieces you picked up in this video, and I’m so jealous of the prices….no way would I ever find that in New York. To me fabric designs can be like art, and I use fabric pieces for many things that don’t require sewing. Sometimes I cover a book, or journal with fabric. If I really love an intricate piece of fabric I will frame and hang it. I use it to line the bottom of a box, make a little pouch using glue, and a drawstring, I also use fabric to make jewelry, I could go on and on🤣🤣, but there are many things you can do without being able to sew.

My mom can create anything out of scraps of fabric and material. She sews like a star. And knits, crochets, etc.
I didn't take the time to learn how to sew from a pattern, I wish I did now.
I can sew, just not like a pro.

I’m not a user of scarves, yet, but probably would wear them if I could find them at thrift stores here in the U.S. I was really looking forward to seeing you and your mom model the clothes you bought at the charity shop, especially the cotton shirts. Perhaps another time? On occasion you might run across some very nice, affordable designer pieces that for one reason or another don’t work out for you so you pass them up. Have you considered buying them anyway, if the price is right, and listing them on your online store? Thanks so much for another great video, and congrats on reaching 15k subs.
Hello Lolli 😃👋 Oh yes I used to buy second hand designer items from the thrift shops and resell them, sometimes I still do it (I also resell on Vinted) but I don't have much time, I prefer to make the videos for this channel, and to resell home decor items (it's easier to take pictures of them, and they have a good resell value!)! I'm also focusing on scarves!
