I was quite surprised by how fun it is to play with! I think a lot of people will really enjoy it. You can really pose it any way you want!

All of the bigger buildable minecraft figures have briliant posable builds. The Redstone golems are AMAZING
Honestly, I think that NOTHING will EVER compete with this guy's minecraft MOC. It is SO detailed, I am SO impressed, its amazing, I love it, congrats on being literally the best lego minecraft builder on youtube
These Reviews are so well edited! I hope Lego releases a huge wave of sets like lush caves, dripstone cave, deep dark so we get a hour long review! what if they were all separate sets that you could stack on top!
I do wish Minecraft sets were more modular! That would be epic.
@@CheeseyStudios they were doing a lot of modularity and connection stuff in the earlier years, but it feels like they stopped that considering most kids only get a couple of sets
Something like the Harry Potter Line's modularity would be cool to see, though it would make the overall lack of game accuracy a bit more glaring, I feel..
The amount of space in this set while still feeling detailed is really what makes it great. Happy new year, you’ve brought a lot of great content this year, and I can’t wait to see what this next year brings!

this is awesome! are you going to implement the new prints in your version of the warden? if so, i suggest you to try to put the new sculk shrieker print behind the tooth pieces in your warden's chest! genuinely think it would look interesting, by the way, happy new years!

The warden is surprisingly better than I thought. It's big but a really fun build with nice posability and strength. It's a shame the other minifigs are lacking though 😕

Cannot wait to get my hands on this set! It is fantstic! The warden is a beauty and that posability is great! The shrieker is also a nice little build that print for the souls in it sweet.
And the set itself looks bigger here then in the official pictures!
Got my hands on the end arena and frozen peak sets a bit early, gonna be a nice treat to end the year with.

Amazing review! Can’t wait to hopefully get my hands on this set along with the other sets when they get released in Canada, I mainly want this one for my underground/cave diorama that I’m working on for LEGO Minecraft. I’m getting it in around 3 weeks so pretty soon! I’m super exited, I keep rewatching your review to really remind myself that it’s actually a thing, I went to toys r us on Saturday in Canada and thy had 3 of these just sitting on the bottom shelf lol, that hefty $85 CAD price-tag is definitely showing it’s part lol, it’s like $90 CAD after tax lol, definitely an expensive set, but it’ll be worth it! Definitely gonna get the sword outpost, the bee cottage, or the frozen peaks set next, still deciding between the 3, would you by any chance have a suggestion on what set I should get after the deep dark battle? Between the bee cottage, sword outpost, and the frozen peaks?
@@rmarquez5 I know it's the priciest of the three, but the Sword Outpost is probably my favorite 2023 Minecraft set so far! Lots of good stuff in there, and it's a great-looking set!

I got this set yesterday, and I love it! It's the most fun I've had with a lego minecraft set since all the way back in the first wave, when I got the end set with the awesome full diamond armor. I love the sets that have the bosses/boss arenas in them. I also fought my first warden in the game today. My friend and I fought and killed 10 of them before we decided to pack up and go home. It was a very stressful, but extremely fun time. I had to wait until after to build the set, because I wasn't going to let myself build a mob i haven't beaten before!

i recently have bought my second Lego Minecraft set, the coral reef, mostly for the minifigures. planning to buy the deep dark set next, because of the warden, enchanted hoe, enchanted crossbow, netherite armor and the scuk blocks + extras (other items and blocks).
my plan is to build my own block accurate sets.

You’re the reason I’m slowly getting back into Lego Minecraft.
Anyways, I don’t really feel like buying this sets, mainly because there’s not much besides the warden ( which I will remember my first time encountering ) and two players.
The two sets I might be picking up however is the mangrove swamp and end battle for the slime, and shulker ( plus I don’t have an end set, and the mangrove looks fun )

Them re-using the Shulker piece for the Shrieker is clever and was probaly a reason we got the new mold since they could re-use it and all.

Bro, I also wasn't interested in the jungle abomination set, but my wife bought it for me for just this Christmas, and oh boy, you have to build it, I haven't had this much fun building a creature, let alone a Minecraft one in ages! There are so clever techniques in there, it's amazing.

Honestly a pretty fun set, I like how the warden is really posable and I like all of the sculk on the ground
The vibes are pretty strong on this one!
I personally like the darker face color it looks shaded and may work well when wearing the armor instead

you should start doing Minecraft Dungeon Mocs such as creeper woods, or soggy swamp.
I must confess I'm completely unfamiliar with Minecraft Dungeons!
The Warden is definitely now my favorite buildable Minecraft figures. I especially love how well the dark turquoise and dark blue go together.
The turquoise is quite fun!
This is definitely the one Minecraft set I’m getting this January. Not only is the warden amazing but the Arbalest Knight is probably my new favorite Lego Minecraft skin. Sure the printing on the face may be a little bit sub optimal but Lego has definitely done way worse before. Just look at the Mercy figure from the Overwatch wave for an excellent example. Lego just really stinks at printing light colors over darker ones. Overall though I really like this set & while I’m not that interested in Minecraft sets as much, I will definitely be picking this one up. Now if only they would do a decently large Lush Caves set.

I think they should have used mainly black and dark blue, then used teal for activated sensors.
Also, missed opportunity not printing one of those tiles into a recovery compass

The green armor in the ice cave could be confused with Emerald armor and the helmet can be confused with the turtle shell

Have you considered using the 1x2 teal tile w/teeth (part 15209) to replace the warped grass in your warped forest MOC?

This is incredible, definitely gonna pick up once it's available- honestly the warden legs don't bother me. I wish there was a little more branching out structure, instead of the whole set stuck to a square area, as I feel it slightly takes away from the feeling of being in a made like deep dark city. Otherwise perfect!
I do hope we get expansions for that very reason - make a proper city!
As soon as this set comes out, I'm buying it asap.

That Warden is pretty damm neat. Shame the back looks like it's made of Swiss cheese lol. The fact he can be moved around so much is so cool. Makes me wonder, could you remove his legs to make it appear like he is coming out of the ground?
