I’m persuading my Dad to open up a bowling center in Redmond Oregon, because that town has nearly 40,000 people and the nearest bowling alley is half an hour away… I’ve been scoping the internet for pinsetters, lanes, etc… And a bowling center is getting rid of there A-2’s which are is gorgeous shape, and I always wanted A-2’s if I ever opened up a center. Nice video!
Stick to those free falls ! No strings ✂️✂️✂️. I think you could do really well with a population like that and no close bowling center. Keep that dream alive and go for it !
I think Park Lanes in Loves Park, IL has those model A's with electric rake release mechanism too! That's really interesting to see how that is all set up! Center is looking good! I'll have to plan a trip down there sometime!
What a dream! It reminds me so much of the bowling alley I learned on - Plaza Lanes in Long Beach, CA. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when you are done! It will be a show piece. Congratulations to you & Aaron!

if you have new pin solenoids that fire during a strike, adding a strike harness isn't worth anything since the machine automatically switches to second ball during a strike locking out the strike switch
@@GarageBowlingAlley - I understand although my last center had Astro II with the red X although had AMF scoring which used the new pin solenoid for strikes and fouls. when the bowler bowled a strike, it would automatically switch to second ball locking out the strike lamp

I haven't seen that type of shotgun setup before on 9/10! Neat!
A place in my area has that setup on their JetBack machines.
It's new to me. I don't know how it works but can kindof guess. Worse case I'll put the bars back on it.
ZOT went out of business. It may be wise to create a plan to phase out any zot pieces/parts if they are things that typically wear out or can go bad.
