In a world not unlike late medieval central Europe, a hard and cold knight finds that her arch enemy has taken away that which is most precious to her. Can she break the curse? In order to do so, she'll have to face the music.

Nightshade's notes: This is a bonus Friday audio this week! There were two scripts finished and released right around the same time, and I'm so incredibly excited about them both that I couldn't stand to wait to record them. This one is the first. I commissioned Timeraft for it, and it's honestly so perfect for the type of audio I like to record that I can't even believe it. It's like Timeraft looked straight into my brain and figured out exactly what I was hoping for. So I hope you all enjoy it.
Observant listeners might notice that I used the same thumbnail background in the Foolish series videos ( • Foolish (The Villain Y... ) and wonder, are these stories in the same universe? Well, officially, no. Those scripts are by a different writer, so there's no real story relationship. I just used the background because it was the most fitting one I could find. BUT -- I mean, it does kind of fit, doesn't it? This could have been a prequel to that. Maybe before the villainous sorceress found love, she tried to punish one of the knights of the kingdom... Well, like I said, it's not official, but I kind of like the idea!
Finally, to the people who've asked about my health since I mentioned being sick last week -- the minor cold actually turned into bronchitis for a bit, but I'm on antibiotics now and on the mend. I think maybe you can hear it a bit in my voice in this audio, but I figured if the gruff knight sounds a little bit rough, that still fits, right?

I wasn't expecting this to be a "stand alone" audio by the way it was sounding. For a while, I thought the listener wasn't going to stay asleep for at least two more episodes of what sounded like a series.

This was my first ever commission from Timeraft! I barely knew what I was asking for, but they put it together and made this amazing script out of my nonsense. When I first read it, I of course knew that the listener was going to wake up - I was the one who commissioned it! - but I tell you, I probably would have doubted it, if I hadn't. I thought it was pretty masterful, the way they pushed it past the point where you'd reasonably expect the listener character to wake up, but not so far that you'd, like, idk, click off the video in a rage. 😆 Thank you for listening!

Aww, I'm sorry! But I had a similar reaction when I first read this script. I commissioned something incomprehensibly vague from Timeraft about a relationship that grows stronger over time and left all those pesky details like characters, settings, and even genre up to them. And when I saw what they came up with, my heart broke in the best way. 💔💗 To be honest, I still wonder if I could have done better at portraying what it made me feel, but I'm very glad to know that my performance affected you! Thank you!

I'll be honest - I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. Timeraft often sticks little references like that in their scripts, so it's totally plausible.

If they are the same person,then it’s a side story of the war between the mage and the kingdom .
I mentioned this in the description! Officially, no, these scripts were written by different people, so the characters are each inventions of different minds. But, I mean, it does seem to fit, right? It would totally make sense, and I kind of like the idea.
