I am currently reading Tom Lake for a book club and it is so fantastic, it's a great insight into how much we do change as we grow, how our old flames fade and we find new love but we never forget. I'm only 3/4 way through but I would highly recommend this book to anyone! I'm reading it but might also have a listen to the audible as I've heard Meryl Streep reads. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Lydia, I read Evergreen over Christmas and absolutely loved it. It filled me with so much gratitude for the now and so much hope for the future and helped me to see things in a very different light after a long period of struggling. Being out in nature has always been my happy place and it helped me to reconnect on a much deeper level. I cannot thank you enough for the gentle approach you took with this book. The sound quality is terrible. Much better without the microphone.
So nice to hear of another cleaning their shoes after they are worn. I also started doing this. Use baby wipes to clean the shoes after wear and I clean the bottoms of the shoes as well before I place them back on the shoe shelf. ❤

Lovely gifts. I read Evergreen over the Christmas break and it was a perfect read for that time, imo. I realised how much I had aligned myself with the seasons when I stopped being outside as much as I used to be (things in life changed). I am still making room for it, but it's not currently how it used to be. It was particularly useful to be reminded of minding what we "digest" in terms of socials, but in particular how what we read about and watch even during the day can impact our sleep. I only read "good mood" books now before bed.

I know from previous videos, that you suffer around your time of the month, as do I, a friend of mine reccomended an electric menstral heat pad, its so discreet and is amazing, I can't be without mine, which I got from Amazon. One of my favourite Christmas presents was your amazing book, have read from cover to cover at least twice already and have also listened to the audio book, your voice is very calming, I now turn to it when, my brain is going at full speed and I use it and your voice to give me some calming energy.

Darling Lydia, I love your video's. They make me so happy. I have had to buy your book through audible because i just couldnt wait any longer. Im in australia and the company i pre-ordered your book through back in August have just continued to push back the date, now they're saying that i wont get it until March. So i am now enjoying it through audible, until i can get my hands on the actual physical book and im so excited for that, it is such a beautiful book and will look lovely on my book shelf. Umm…. I have a brass fountain pen that’s exactly like yours where you have to unscrew the cap then screw it back onto the butt of the pen, and it brings me so much joy every time I use it! Okay, I don't quite know how to start this but, I work for DKMS and we campaign with influencers to draw attention to the important subject of stem cell donation for cancer patients. I would love it if you and your team would give the subject a look.

Just finished reading your beautiful Evergreen book. Every chapter was “so me” we live in a rural Scottish private valley surrounded by sheep, cows, deer and giant Hares. Our chicken coop is going to be renovated in the Spring so we can get 3-6 young chickens 🐣🐥🐓

Hello Lydia 👋 , I really enjoyed this video. I’m from America and I haven’t ordered your book yet but I’m going to. I really appreciate you for showing people that Christmas is not about buying the most expensive things and highlighting them on your videos, and like you said making people like me feel bad because they don’t have money to buy those things. But I’m like you I love the little things, things that people have put a lot of thought in to find things just for you. I believe people have gotten so caught up in things of this world. But they really forget what’s important the love of God, family and caring for those around in whatever way we can. 🫶🏼🤲❤️👍
Lydia, I’m no expert but you are over modulating. Perhaps look at your sound set up. Ive seen some videos recently with amazing sound and they use Rode.
Both Ali and Lydia could benefit tremendously from a better audio setup.
This one is a little worse than usual. Shame cause the video quality is great

It's probably just the gain set too high, a very simple fix on the audio settings
It’s the new mic set-up, it’s awful. The sound quality before was always good, so I’m not sure why the mic was needed. I can’t watch using my headphones any longer either.
