Craig was a great later-season addition. As with Jean Ralphio, they used him enough that I wanted more but not so much that the shtick got old.

Agreed. April's treatment towards Jerry is relatively funny, she's a nutjob afterall, but Tom's treatments towards him is so awful.

Had a co-worker like that. Well, she was actually my boss. Been in the department for a couple of decades and was unbelievable at her job. Actually saw her as a grandmother figure tbh. Best boss ever.
She was always going off about one thing or another. Never in a "this has ruined my day" type thing and never was it targeted or in mean spirit. If you didn't know her she seemed like a grump. But by jolly did she care about people and the work. She was always there if you needed her and if someone outside the department even looked twice at us, she killed them. If you went to her with a problem, she could go on for a few minutes while solving it and then she'd either apologise or it'd be forgotten about a few minutes later.
Had to take a while off work due to mental health (not related) and the entire time she made it clear that she does not care about the work but just that you (me) gets better. She helped out a lot.
Don't get me wrong, to earn that respect from her you had to actually do your work. You never felt like it was too much and she was always there with help. In doing so you learned that she was never actually grumpy with you or anything - it's just that sort of way that a lot of people get whenever you've been at the job for so long.
Acc loved working for her. It's the same thing with Craig - get past the 2 minutes of "ehh" and you've got someone there who cares and is passionate and it's a real morale changer.
Craig legit is probably my favorite character tied with Andy.

I used to have a co worker who was basically Craig. Man was a bit too much at times but boy would he get the job done no matter how difficult it got. Plus he'd always help people out however he could.

This might be an unpopular opinion but Craig seemed kinda annoying to me. The concept of the character was fine but the actor's voice sounds whiny. A different actor could have played it better. For example Jason Alexander. It was hilarious when George Costanza yells in Seinfeld 😌
