This was fantastic! It's really hard to find an artist that actually truly uses the water so much and I'm forever trying to let the water do most of the work. Thanks for the demo, I love it!

I like your way of presenting the way water does it's thing in the mist of a scene. Thorough and transparent with humor... I'm subscribing because that's a receipt for pleasant demos. You make it look fun and easy by showing us that it is.

Hi David, thank you so much for showing how to use a sponge . I have struggled for quite some time and never got the trees the way I wanted. The first time I used one it created just what I wanted. Now I have to get the light beams figured out. Thanks again.

Hi David...I love your techniques and teaching style. Just wish you could teach some classes up here in Canada. What a true talent you are. I've been painting with acrylics and finally decided to take the plunge into watercolors. Thank you for sharing this wonderful insightful tutorial using some of your marvelous techniques. PLEASE share more tutorials like this...there are so many out there, however you are a master of such a lovely medium and I was so excited to find this on the internet. Take care, Ursula

Great work, David. I can see that you are having so much fun. I have viewed several CZcams watercolor artists, and these techniques are a first for me. Great tips. I did SUB b because I want to go back and see what you have done in the past and will do in the future. Happy painting, and I am so glad you are producing that special tree sponge for only $50, or $100 or $300 special viewers price. Keep painting with joy.

This is GORGEOUS, lots of great tips here for letting the water do the work for you! I do want to say, I was a little confused by the thumbnail for this video - the painting you did is not the same as the one pictured in the thumbnail. I will check your channel to see if you have a demo for that particular one, because I really wanted to do the warm sun coming through the trees. Sometime I'd love to see how you painted the ducks coming up off the water too! Thanks for sharing your amazing talent!
