- Welcome to the soundset for the Behringer Cat synthesizer.
«Analog Classics» is a collection of 60 patches: 18 Leads, 16 Basses, 16 Plucks, 5 Chords, 5 FX.
It includes famous sounds that are found in many electronic tracks, from vintage to modern, musical solo timbres; retro basses that will fit into any track or performance. The patches will add uniqueness to your music, featuring the characteristic sound introduced by the Behringer Cat.

Plucks are excellent for use with arpeggiators or sequencers. In most examples of this category, I utilize an arpeggiator. Behringer Cat doesn’t have a built in arp/seq, but you may integrate your preferred arpeggiators or sequencers from your DAW or MIDI controller.
Chords are patches that involve intervals between the oscillators, such as major/minor thirds and others, creating the illusion of a chord.
The presets are suitable for a variety of genres, including: ambient, electronica, IDM, deep, techno, house, progressive, trance, lounge, downtempo, funk, jazz, pop, chill out, new age, cinematic, breaks, jungle, drum and bass, dub and others.
The soundset is presented in the form of PDF-Document. Each page contains notes that explain how the patch works, what parameters are worth tweaking during playback, and how to develop the timbre during a performance.
There are audio examples of all patches inside the folder with the soundset.

This made me purchase a Cat
Enjoy it
Cat is so versatile, a real gem!
This does sound. Better than the model d imo
A very interesting synthesizer, I regularly find new sounds from it
very easy to find sounds with cat
Purrfection!!
Thanks
Please explore pads/drones on the Behringer model D!
probably later
Great Job! I'm studying the possibility of connecting one or two of these Behringer analog racks, via the cv of my Roland JDXA - I already use the midi ports for Brain Loopstation 505 synchronized with a Circuit Tracks. But, i heard that if I use 2 Cats I could have 4 voices - in this case outside the JDXA, with a controller like yours via midi chain. Would these two configurations work well (one Cat to JDXA cv port, or 2 Cats on a controller for more voices)?
behringer synths can be connected in poly-chain mode. I'm planning to explore this topic soon. stay tuned
@@AntonAnruThank You! I'm looking forward to it
@@AntonAnruFor PolyChain mode any behringer have good options. But i think that Pro One have more cv possibilities than Cat.
🎉Proof that people can make this one sound good🎉. Kinda gave up on the Cat 😢. Got me feeling some def Genesis/Mega Drive vibes in the jams.
I'd say that cat is quite nice
I am a Cat person.
I'm a Wasp person)
not the best sounding synth
There's another demo from another dude and he makes it sound many times better.
There's always something better
Actually, I think it has a lot of interesting sounds that don't necessarily sound like every other synth out there. A smart producer or a talented artist will take a quirky synth like this and make some iconic recordings with it.
